La tesi explora l'experiència de quatre educadores socials per tal de resseguir el saber de l'experiència que les sosté en la seua pràctica de relació educativa. La tesi utilitza la recerca narrativa com a mètode de recerca, un mètode de recerca que recrea creant pràctiques investigadores fructíferes. El diagnóstico precoz y la estratificación de los pacientes con sepsis de forma precoz podría mejorar los resultados de la sepsis porque permitiría un inicio más específico y adecuado de su tratamiento. El objetivo fue identificar biomarcadores mediante un estudio metabolómico de sepsis en orina y sangre utilizando espectroscopía 1H RMN para evaluar la gravedad y predecir el pronóstico. Las muestras de sangre y orina se recogieron en 67 pacientes con sepsis grave o shock séptico en la UCI y se obtuvieron espectros mediante 1H RMN. A new class of compounds, the pyrrolo[2,3-h]quinolin-2-ones, nitrogen isosters of the angular furocoumarin Angelicin, was synthesized with the aim of obtaining new photochemotherapeutic agents with increased antiproliferative activity and lower undesired toxic effects than the lead compound. Two synthetic pathways were approached to allow the isolation both of the dihydroderivatives 10-17 and of the aromatic ring system 23. Cercarial release from the first intermediate host is an important stage in the transmission of trematode parasites. Besides long-term (seasonal) temperature fluctuations, short-term temperature changes can also influence cercarial emergence. We tested the response of the bucephalid trematode, Rhipidocotyle fennica (R. fennica), acclimatized to 17 °C, to an abrupt temperature change. As the natural cercarial shedding by this parasite takes place annually during the warmest season, we expected a positive effect of temperature increase. In this thesis, two bucephalid trematode parasites Rhipidocotyle campanula and R. fennica, which use the same first (Anodonta anatina) and second intermediate (Rutilus rutilus) host were studied. Congenital anomalies of kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT) occur in up to 3.2% of infants, and in almost one third of cases they are associated to genital aberrations. DMSA renal scintigraphy is considered the gold standard in CAKUT patients, to assess renal function, depict and locate ectopic kidney and to guide eventual surgical management.
