Discharge management in fresh and brackish water RAS: Combined phosphorus removal by organic flocculants and nitrogen removal in woodchip reactors

The current study combined P and N removal using organic flocculant chemicals and woodchip bioreactors in both freshwater and brackish water (7 ppm) recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). The use of carbon (C) containing flocculant chemicals in the process was hypothesized to further stimulate C-demanding N removal (denitrification) in bioreactors. The trial of combined P and N removal consisted of four treatments: freshwater and brackish water RAS with and without the addition of supernatant from flocculation process to the woodchip reactor. Arterial hypertension is a significant cause of end-stage renal failure; effective treatment of hypertensive patients reduces the rate of progression of this disorder. ss-Blockers, particularly nonselective agents, are associated with deterioration of renal function in patients with chronic renal failure. Human Duties and Rights in an Intercultural Perspective

This paper reflects on the possibility of opening new ways of revaluing the role of human responsibilities and duties by establishing a relationship with rights that goes further than a simple correspondence between correlative terms. Approaching the interdependence between the language of rights and the language of duties from an intercultural perspective helps achieve an increasingly broader, but necessarily more complex, consensus. This analysis goes back to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which left duties in the background but showed the incipient presence of an intercultural purpose thanks to the work of UNESCO. Desde la transición política y con la firma de la constitución española de 1978 se han ido perpetrando ciertos problemas estructurales que han dificultado la representatividad de los ciudadanos así como la confianza en el agente que ha de representarles; de modo que la soberania popular se ha visto secuestrada por la burocracia de partidos que ha pasado a dictar la voluntad del pueblo. En esta investigación se lleva a cabo un repaso de los múltiples escollos que nuestra Carta Magna consagra, y se realiza un análisis de la coherencia interna respecto a la propia Constitución y los valores que en ella se promulgan.
