The living freshwater gastropod Melanopsis dufouri (FERUSSAC) has two morphotypes. The study of chemical variation of trace-elements in this gastropod and its correlation with the environmental fluctuation are the aim of this paper. Due to the genus Melanopsis has an abundant fossil record during the Cenozoic, the results of the present work could be of paleoecological interest. Trace-elements are embodied in the shell during growth. The shell of M. dufouri has accretionary growth. There are several examples cited on circadian accretionary growth in invertebrate shells. La finalitat d'aquesta revisió sistemàtica va ser determinar l'eficàcia dels mètodes terapèutics per al Trastorn d'Identitat Dissociatiu (DID), en què es diferencia entre tractament psicoterapèutic i farmacològic, així com el tractament per a pacients amb comorbilitat. D'un total de 1.209 referències obtingudes a la base de dades PsycInfo, s'hi seleccionaren 15 estudis a partir dels criteris de selecció establerts prèviament. Inventory record inaccuracy in supply chains: the role of workers' behavior

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to explore the effect of inventory record inaccuracy due to behavioral aspects of workers on the order and inventory variance amplification. Design/methodology/approach – The authors adopt a continuous-time analytical approach to describe the effect of inbound throughput on the inventory and order variance amplification due to the workload pressure and arousal of workers. Comparison settings (i.e. several stimuli introduced simultaneously) favor novel word learning and generalization. This study investigates the temporal dynamics of 6-year-olds solving strategies in a relational noun (e.g. “x is the dax for y”) comparison and generalization task with eye tracking data. We manipulated conceptual distance between the task’s items and recorded children’s performances and eye tracking data. How do the 1982/83 and 1997/98 El Niños rank in a geological record from Peru?

Two very strong El Nino events during the years 1982/83 and 1997/98 caused dramatic economical and social damages worldwide. However, it is quite uncertain how these events rank in a long-term perspective and how frequent events of similar magnitude were in the past. Very-high-resolution proxy data for flood events in the El Nino key region of Peru are presented. Strong flood events in the hyper-arid northern and northern central Peru coastal desert occur during El Nino events. The flood data are derived from a laminated marine sediment core. New interesting moss records from the Pollino National Park (Southern Italy).

Some interesting moss records in Pollino National Park, noteworthy protected area of the southern Apennines, are reported. Among them, Mnium spinosum and Brachythecium tommasinii are new to southern Italian peninsula, Grimmia laevigata, G. Montana, G. tergestina, G. trichophylla and Orthotrichum pumilum are new to Basilicata region, and, finally, Campylidium sommerfeltii is rare in southern Italy and little known in Mediterranean area.
Review of the genus Prolactistes (Heteroptera: Cydnidae), with two new combinations, first Indonesian records and a key to species of the genus

Two species of the genus ParaethusJ. A. Lis, 1994 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Cydnidae: Cydninae: Geotomini) are transferred to ProlactistesJ. A. Lis, 2001, resulting in the following new combinations: Prolactistes jani(J. A. Lis, 1995), comb. nov., and Prolactistes lisi(Magnien, 2014), comb. nov. Diagnostic characters for Prolactistes, and a key for its three species are provided. The present note also reports the first Indonesian record for Prolactistes australisJ. A. Lis, 2001 (Ambon Island, Timor) and P. lisi(Ambon Island), both known previously only from Australia.
