El objeto de esta tesis es hacer memoria: activar la recuperación de recuerdos y experiencias relacionadas con la emigración de valencianos a los Estados Unidos de América durante el primer tercio del siglo XX, desde una de las comarcas donde ésta tuvo mayor impacto demográfico, la Marina Alta, en la provincia de Alicante. A partir de este núcleo podremos conocer cómo este fenómeno se extendió por las comarcas vecinas, en concreto, por el Comtat, también en Alicante y por las de la Safor y la Ribera Alta, en la provincia de Valencia. Tras una revisión de los antecedentes ilustrados y los periplos terapéuticos y profesionales en el primer alienismo, se describen los desplazamientos a instituciones psiquiátricas extranjeras, durante el segundo tercio del siglo XIX, de un grupo de médicos exiliados, comisionados y pioneros españoles. Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā, tajā ir 31 lappuse, kuru sastāvā ir 19 attēli, 3 tabulas, 15 literatūras vienības. Darba mērķis: Ar izveidoto krāsu dimensionalitātes testu novērtēt mentālo nogurumu un noteikt sliekšņus no rīta, pa dienu un vakarā. Dalībnieki: Eksperimentā piedalījās 10 dalībnieki (vecums 21-22). Pētījuma dalībniekiem nebija krāsu redzes traucējumi. Metode: Datorizēts tests, kas sastāv no 20x20 krāsainiem kvadrātu laukumiem. Pētījuma dalībniekiem jāatpazīst divkrāsains “C” burta stimuls uz krāsaina fona pēc 4AFC metodes. Breaking through the stoichiometry barrier: As the diameter of silver particles is decreased below a critical size of 32?nm, the molar ratio of aqueous HgII to Ag0 drastically increases beyond the conventional Hg/Ag ratio of 0.5:1, leading to hyperstoichiometry with a maximum ratio of 1.125:1 (see figure). Therein, around 99?% of the initial silver is retained to rapidly form a solid amalgam with reduced mercury.

The risk of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) production can be a challenge in marine land-based recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). Hydrogen sulfide is a toxic gas that can cause massive fish mortality even at low concentrations, and in addition, serious odour problems in the surroundings. It is a bacterial by-product originating from the degradation of organic matter in sulfur-rich waters such as marine waters. In order to hinder H2S production in marine land-based RAS, more information on the H2S production conditions and the associated microbiology is needed. Sequence of deformation in the sicilidi units (northern sicilian chain)

The foredeep deposits of Northern Sicily, indicated as Sicilidi units, have undergone different deformations' since Oligocene time. The resulting tectonic Structures, analysed in several outcrops in the Eastern Madonie Mts, are 1 cm-to- 100 m in scale and are similar to the larger structures forming the Sicily belt, allowing for scale extrapolation. Also the overprinting relationships of the minor structures recorded in the so-called Tufiti di Tusa reflect the sequence of fault activation which determined the present-day geometry of the tectonic units, suggesting that the tectonic evolution of the foreland basin developed during the stacking of the Maghrebide fold-and-thrust belt. The significant advances in the materials and biological aspects of dental implants haven?t completely eradicated the implant failures. The removal of osseointegrated but otherwise failed implants present several challenges including adjacent tissues damage and necessity of bone augmentation for reimplantation. Controlled thermal necrosis has emerged as an alternative technique to aid removal of osseointegrated dental implants with minimal to no defect to healthy bone or surrounding tissues.
