Intra-foot coordination between center of pressure (COP) of the ball and heel of the foot in single leg standing and inter-foot coordination of the right and left foot during bipedal stance was examined as a function of postural stance (two legs, one leg, and toe postures), footwear (barefoot, different area based high heel shoes) and postural training (ballet group and regular exercising group). The purpose of this study was to check empirically the relevance of the near-infrared hemoencephalography (NIR-HEG), which assesses local brain blood oxygenation, in facilitation of the diagnosis and behavioral therapy in dyslexics. Aim To evaluate short- and long-term effectiveness and safety of infliximab in severe refractory ulcerative colitis. Summary Background : There are conflicting reports on the role of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Helicobacter pylori infection in the aetiology of carditis. Aim : The role of reflux and H. pylori infection in causing carditis was assessed in 113 consecutive patients with GERD and in 25 controls. Methods : All subjects underwent endoscopy and pH test and carditis was diagnosed on biopsies taken across the squamocolumnar junction.
