The paper examines aspectual and selectional properties of Old Catalan prefixed verbs in comparison with their non prefixed counterparts. We ground our analysis on Talmy’s (1985, 2000) notion of verb framed and satellite framed languages and on Mateu (2002, 2003) and Mateu & Rigau (2002) theory of lexical structure, and we argue that telicity and other aspectual properties associated with prefixed verbs are by effects derived from the semantic value of the prefix together with the lexical structure they give rise to. Objective: Subjective well-being is a crucial variable for mental health practitioners. This study examines the influence of therapists’ attachment dimensions and self-reported reflective functioning on their perceived well-being. Further, it examines if reflective functioning mediates the association between attachment insecurity and well-being. Method: A total of 416 experienced psychotherapists were enrolled in this cross-sectional study, and completed self-report measures of attachment insecurity, reflective functioning, and well-being. In the ?barri del mercat?, in the city of Valencia and very close to its Lonja, there is a building complex which is the object of this study. The research, carried out from the simple field of toponymy, to the constructive analysis, lead us to suppose that it is the building of the Valencian trade union of cloth-shearers. It can be seen how the building now camouflaged by other subsequent interventions, corresponds to a type that cannot be related to those usually built in the city of Valencia. Applications of tunnel junctions in low-dimensional nanostructures

This thesis concentrates on studies of AlOx based tunnel junctions and their feasibility for cooling, thermometry and strain sensing in suspended nanostructures. The main result of the thesis is cooling of one dimensional phonon modes of a suspended nanowire with normal metal insulator superconductor (NIS) tunnel junctions. Simultaneous cooling of both electrons and phonons was achieved, and the lowest phonon temperature reached in the system was 42 mK with an initial temperature of 100 mK. In addition, suspended devices show cooling still at a bath temperature of 600 mK.
