Characterization of the autoantigen La (SS-B) as a dsRNA unwinding enzyme

During the analysis of the La (SS-B) autoantigen for catalytic activities an ATP-dependent double-stranded RNA unwinding activity was detected. Both native and recombinant La proteins from different species displayed this activity, which could be inhibited by monospecific anti-La antibodies. La protein was able to melt dsRNA substrates with either two 3'-overhangs or a single 3'- and a 5'-overhang. Double-stranded RNAs with two 5'-overhangs were not unwound, indicating that at least one 3'-overhang is required for unwinding. Nuestro objetivo general es facilitar que se consoliden las bases prácticas necesarias para la evaluación óptima de la visión binocular en cada una de las partes que la componen. En esta publicación, correspondiente a la práctica 1, se muestra como realizar el examen refracto, etapa importante para afrontar óptimamente las pruebas binoculares posteriores.

ANTECEDENTES: La cirugía refractiva ha demostrado ser segura y efectiva para la corrección de errores de refracción y estrabismos puramente acomodativos. Pētījuma ietvaros tiek pielietota Beijesa modeļu svēršana (BMA) un vispārīgā momentu metode (GMM) Globālās Konkurētspējas apakšindeksu (GCI) datiem, lai identificētu strukturālo reformu jomas, kas var nozīmīgi paātrināt Latvijas ekonomisko izaugsmi. Novērtējumu rezultāti, kuros ņemta vērā gan modeļu nenoteiktība, gan endogenitāte liecina, ka ekonomisko izaugsmi var veicināt ar augstākām investīcijām, zemāku administratīvo slogu, stabilāku makroekonomisko vidi, paaugstinātu ārvalsts tiešo investīciju kvalitāti, kā arī ar attīstītākiem uzņēmējdarbības klasteriem. Virskorekcijas pielietojamība tuvredzības progresijas novērtēšanā ortokeratoloģijas pacientiem

Darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 93 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 49 attēlus, 24 tabulas un 95 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Šī darba mērķis ir pārbaudīt, vai virskorekcija ir derīga metode tuvredzības progresēšanas novērtēšanai ortokeratoloģijā. Hipotēze ir atrast lielākas izmaiņas gados jaunākiem pacientiem nekā pieaugušajiem, kā tas ir norādīts literatūrā. Pētījumā iekļauti 192 Eiropeīdās rases subjekti vecumā no 6 līdz 56 gadiem (vidēji 19,61±10,30). Izmantojot retrospektīvu analīzi, no objektīva BOZR kontaktlēcas parametra tiek iegūta virskorekcija (ORX). Jaunākiem cilvēkiem ir lielākas ORX vērtības, bet pieaugušajiem nav atšķirības (p<0,05). In recent years, a growing number of forced migrants have travelled to Italy across the Mediterranean Sea. While the number of new arrivals has diminished since 2017, the Italian reception system still struggles to process the high number of applications for international protection. A significant proportion of forced migrants who arrive in Italy end up living in informal settlements, such as occupied buildings, shacks, containers and tented camps. Pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkastelimme vuorovaikutustutkimuksen keinoin, miten yhteistoiminta rakentui hetki hetkeltä pariterapian reflektiivisten prosessien muutoskohdissa. Käyttämämme aineisto koostui Jyväskylän yliopiston Relationaalinen mieli -tutkimushankkeen yhteydessä kerätyistä videoidusta pariterapiaistunnoista. Kävimme läpi 62 videoitua pariterapiaistuntoa ja valikoimme niistä yhdeksän reflektiivisten prosessien aikaista muutoskohtaa. Muutoskohtina käsittelimme sellaisia reflektiivisen prosessin aikana esiintyneitä vuorovaikutusepisodeja, joihin sisältyi näkyviä vuorovaikutusresponsseja kummaltakin asiakaspariskunnan osapuolelta.
