In this work, we assess both the morphological and genetic diversity of 68 important olive cultivars from three Southern Italian regions: Calabria, Campania and Sicily. Twenty-five phenotypic traits were evaluated and 12 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers were analysed. All SSR primers were polymorphic and reliable. The total number of alleles per locus varied from 5 to 19 with an average number of 13.1 and a mean polymorphic information content (PIC) of 0.81. Several studies have been conducted to explore students’ understanding of the integral-area relationships, however, only a few focused on students’ metacognition in relation to this topic. In this study, students’ metacognitive knowledge, skills, and experiences in relation to an integral-area evaluation task are explored using semi-structured interviews and think-aloud protocol. The results show that several students developed monitoring strategies in relation to integral-area relationships; however, they do not use these strategies when solving integral-area tasks. In 1995-1996, the MacArthur Midlife Research Network carried out a national survey of 7,108 Americans aged 25 to 74 (MIDLIFE IN THE UNITED STATES (MIDUS), 1995-1996 [ICPSR 2760]). The purpose of the study was to investigate the role of behavioral, psychological, and social factors in understanding age-related differences in physical and mental health. In this study the topic of sexual communication, satisfaction, and accommodation in intercultural relationships is examined. Intercultural couples are in need of more attention in scholarly research, especially on the topic of sexual communication. This study aims to bring the topic into clear view. Mātes un pieaugušas meitas attiecību saistība ar meitas romantiskajām attiecībām

Šajā darbā tuvāk tika apskatīts mātes un meitas attiecību raksturojums dažādās teorijās (psihoanalītiskā, feminisma, piesaistes, starppaaudžu teorijas), mātes un meitas attiecību attīstība, mātes un meitas attiecības pieaugušo vecumā, kā arī mātes un meitas attiecību ietekme uz meitas romantiskajām attiecībām. Šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot mātes un pieaugušas meitas attiecību saistību ar meitas romantiskajām attiecībām. Pētījumā piedalījās 65 sievietes vecumā no 30 - 40 gadiem, kurām ir dzīvas mātes un kurām ir romantiski - seksuālas attiecības. Pētījuma rezultātā tiek secināts, ka iekšējie konflikti kavē romantisku attiecību veidošanos un pozitīvi atkarīgas attiecības meitai ar māti palīdz…
