The objective of this paper is to report on the activities carried out during the first year of the Italian project “Use of COSMO-SkyMed data for LANDcover classification and surface parameters retrieval over agricultural sites” (COSMOLAND), funded by the Italian Space Agency. The project intends to contribute to the COSMO-SkyMed mission objectives in the agriculture and hydrology application domains.

Agile methodologies are sometimes adopted, with the assumption that benefits can be attained by only using a set of best practices, which can sometimes work to a degree. In this paper, a case is discussed where a software-producing organization of seven teams achieved significant improvements. The goal of the research was to answer two questions: how an already agile organization could improve its performance further and what is the impact of promoting quality aspects? This paper aims to analyse the system of review procedures present under the Act of 11.09.2019 - the Law on Public Procurement, including applications for review and the appeal to the Polish Public Procurement Court, for the purposes of Polish practice of law. The analysis carried out here takes account of a number of decisions made by the Polish Public Procurement Office, by the domestic courts, and by the Court of Justice.

La obra YIZKEREM (del hebreo: Que nuestro Señor los recuerde) es un monumento al Holocausto de la nación judía. Dado que la compositora, Bracha Bdil, pertenece a la comunidad ortodoxa de Europa del Este, muchas de sus obras se basan en la tradición musical de los modos judíos de Europa del Este y los textos de estas fuentes. La fusión de la técnica compositiva contemporánea con los elementos de la antigua tradición judía conduce a la compositora a un lenguaje compositivo muy personal.

Darbā aplūkoti remigrācijas teorētiskie aspekti un apkopoti pieejamie statistikas dati. Pielietojot kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes, darbā analizētas intervijas ar atpakaļmigrantiem un reģionālajiem remigrācijas koordinatoriem. Pētījums atklāj remigrācijas izpētes sarežģīto raksturu, jo intervēto atgriešanās pieredze bijusi dažāda. Vienlaikus tas sniedz ieskatu remigrācijas pārvaldībā, kas Latvijā pagaidām ir maz pētīta. OBJECTIVE: To assess the prevalence of good clinical response and remission in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients with longstanding disease treated with anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) drugs at outpatient clinics. METHODS: Retrospective national study of 14 academic tertiary referral rheumatology medical centers. RA patients with a Disease Activity Score (DAS28) > 3.2 were defined as having active disease and could start TNF-alpha blockers. All patients received one TNF-alpha blocker plus methotrexate (10-20 mg/wk). The organization and dynamics of microtubules (MTs) and the actin cytoskeleton are critical for the correct development and functions of neurons, including intracellular traffic and signaling. In vitro ethanol exposure impairs endocytosis, exocytosis, and nucleocytoplasmic traffic in astrocytes and alters endocytosis in cultured neurons. In astrocytes, these effects relate to changes in the organization and/or function of MTs and the actin cytoskeleton.
