The paper focuses on changes of urban and cultural landscapes after 1945 under the communist regime in a way that they were presented in Polish, Czech and Slovak literature published after 1989 (when a climate for talking about politically uncomfortable topics has changed). Esta investigación tiene como objetivo el análisis de la representación social del cáncer y de los enfermos oncológicos en la población española. Para ello se entrevistaron a 200 sujetos elegidos mediante muestreo al azar. El método utilizado fue la realización de entrevistas estructuradas que contenían asociaciones libres de palabras ante términos estimulo y preguntas semicerradas. Las respuestas obtenidas son analizadas a partir de análisis descriptivos y análisis de contenido. The Frankfurt Parliament (1848–49) was subsequently dismissively referred to as the “Professors’ Parliament” due to its heavy representation of scholars and the academic style of its lengthy discussions. Professors have played a prominent role in the deliberations and development of other European assemblies, too. Representative, legislative and deliberative assemblies are commonly called parliaments. The three types of assemblies share many procedures and practices, and the Inter-Parliamentary Union includes all three types among its members. Nonetheless, as ideal types in the Weberian sense, the three kinds of political assemblies do differ in their modes of acting and thinking politically.
