Background Biological databases and repositories are incrementing in diversity and complexity over the years. This rapid expansion of current and new sources of biological knowledge raises serious problems of data accessibility and integration. To handle the growing necessity of unification, CellBase was created as an integrative solution. CellBase provides a centralized NoSQL database containing biological information from different and heterogeneous sources. Python valodas REST API ietvaru salīdzinājums

Arvien populārāk kļūst veidot tīmekļa vietņu servera puses risinājumus, kuri balstās uz REST API arhitektūru. Šāds koncepts ļauj atdalīt datu apstrādes un manipulācijas procesu no to reprezentācijas, radot iespēju šīs funkcionalitātes izstrādāt neatkarīgi vai nodrošināt datus vairākām nesaistītām lietotnēm vienlaicīgi. Šajā darbā ir apskatīti vairāki specializēti Python programmēšanas valodas ietvari REST API sistēmu izstrādei. Darbā ir veikts gan teorētisks, gan empīrisks pētījums par esošajām iespējām, un ar vienotu funkcionalitāti izstrādāti REST API servisi ar dažādiem ietvariem. Darba rezultātā ir veikta iegūto datu analīze un formulēti secinājumi par katru no ietvariem.
"Gudrā māja" tīmekļa servisi

Darba mērķis bija izstrādāt lietotnes “Gudrā māja” tīmekļu servisa daļu, kas ļautu lietotnes lietotājiem piekļūt dažādu sensoru mērītajai informācijai, kas tiek glabāta MySQL datubāzē, par viņiem piederošo māju, kā arī ļaut attālināti kontrolēt dažādas mājā esošās ierīces. Sensoru un pievienoto ierīču darbību nodrošina Arduino mikro kontrolieris. Lietotni iespējams izmantot reģistrētiem lietotājiem, kas ir mājas iemītnieki un sistēmas administratoriem. Lietotnes “Gudrā māja” tīmekļa servisi tiek realizēti Java programmēšanas valodā, izmantojot JPA un Jersey RESTfull tīmekļa servisu tehnoloģijas.
