Myopathy with hexagonally cross-linked crystalloid inclusions: delineation of a clinico-pathological entity.

A novel myopathy characterized by hexagonally cross-linked tubular arrays has been reported in five patients. We studied the clinical and histopathological features of five additional unrelated patients with this myopathy. Patients experienced exercise intolerance with exercise-induced myalgia and weakness, without rhabdomyolysis. One patient additionally presented mild permanent pelvic girdle muscle weakness. Age at onset varied between 13 and 56 years. The inclusions were eosinophilic on H and E, bright red with modified Gomori’s trichrome stains, present in type 2 fibers, and revealed immunoreactivity selectively for a caveolin-3-antibody. Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan sitä, miten ajatus inhimillisen kokemusmaailman tarinallisuudesta nousee esiin Friedrich Nietzschen teoksissa Die fröhliche Wissenschaft (1882), Also sprach Zarathustra (1883–1885), Jenseits von Gut und Böse (1886) sekä Zur Genealogie der Moral (1887). Tavoitteena on selvittää, miten Nietzsche ymmärtää tarinallisten rakenteiden roolin suhteessa yksilön minuuden muodostumiseen, inhimillisen olemassaolon ajallisuuteen sekä kokemusten merkityksellistämiseen. Technical and economical comparison between NdFeB and hard ferrites linear electrical generators from sea waves

In this paper the authors perform a technical-economic comparison of two different Tubular Permanent Magnet Linear Machines for sea waves generation by using finite elements analysis. The first configuration includes ferrite rings while the second configuration includes neodymium-iron-boron rings. In order to compare the two types in economic and technical terms, a detailed analysis of the main figures of merit of the two configurations has been carried out. In particular, significant data such as flux distribution, rated voltage and current, axial force, electric power, realization cost and maintenance cost have been compared.

Voß wyjaśnia propozycje szkolno-pedagogiczne, w pewnym sensie skromne warsztaty literackie, które zostaną zrealizowane w ramach wystawy stałej zatytułowanej "Johann Heinrich Voß. Grek z Mecklenburii".
First decay study of the very neutron-rich isotope 93Br

The decay of the mass-separated, very neutron-rich isotope 93 Br has been studied by γ spectroscopy. A level scheme of its daughter 93 Kr has been constructed. Level energies, γ-ray branching ratios, and multipolarities suggest spins and parities which are in accord with a smooth systematics of the N = 57 isotones for Z <~ 4 0 , suggesting the N = 56 subshell closure still to be effective in Kr isotopes. So far, there is no indication of a progressive onset of deformation in neutron-rich Kr isotopes. peerReviewed
