Semantic-aware news feeds management framework
2010
In the Web, RSS and Atom (feeds) are probably the most popular and highly utilized XML formats which allow web communities, publishing industries, web services, etc. to publish and exchange XML documents. In addition, they allow a user to consume data/information easily without roaming from site to site using software applications. Here, the user registers her favorite feed providers; and each provider sends the list of news items changed since the last download. However, registering a number of feed sources in feed aggregators cause both heterogeneity and information overloading problems. Besides, none of the existing RSS/feed aggregators provide an approach that integrates (merges) feeds …
Pea root rot diseases : characterization and biocontrol of the disease complex including Aphanomyces euteiches.
2021
Root rots in peas are a major concern in most growing regions around the world. The disease is caused by a parasitic complex made up of many species of soil-borne fungi and oomycetes. In France, the main pathogen involved until recently was the oomycete Aphanomyces euteiches. The identity of the other components of the parasitic complex and their respective contributions to the disease have not been investigated. No control method is currently available to effectively control the disease, apart from a predictive biological test questioned by some users. However, this test allows the avoidance of infested plots, which furthermore limits the multiplication in soils of A. euteiches, i.e. the m…
Etude physiopathologique de la réponse immunitaire au cours de la thrombopénie immunologique (purpura thrombopénique immunologique)
2010
Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune disease responsible for a peripheral immune destruction of platelets associated with an inappropriate bone marrow production. In this work, we first review the mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of ITP. We also focus on the T cell immune response, highlighting the key role of regulatory T cells (Treg) in peripheral tolerance. The implication of the spleen in the immune response and the effects of rituximab, a B cell depleting therapy, are discussed. Then, our results obtained from 40 ITP patients are reported. Despite the fact that CD4+CD25HighFoxp3+ circulating Treg levels are similar between patients and controls, a significant increase …
Evolution de la résistance basale à Botrytis cinerea au cours de la maturation de la baie
2013
National audience; Mature grapevine berries at the harvesting stage (MB) are very susceptible to the grey mould fungus Botrytis cinerea while veraison berries (VB) are not. We conducted simultaneous microscopic and transcriptomic analyses of the pathogen and the host to investigate the infectious process developed by B. cinerea on MB versus VB, and the plant defence mechanisms deployed to stop the fungus development. On the pathogen side, our genome-wide transcriptomic data revealed that B. cinerea genes up-regulated during infection of MB are enriched in functional categories related to necrotrophy such as degradation of plant cell wall, proteolysis, membrane transport, oxidative stress re…
Les pourritures racinaires du pois potager, caractérisation et biocontrôle du complexe parasitaire d’origine tellurique incluant Aphanomyces euteiches
