Copolymerization of Ethylene with Selected Vinyl Monomers Catalyzed by Group 4 Metal and Vanadium Complexes with Multidentate Ligands: A Short Review

This paper gives a short overview of homogeneous post-metallocene catalysts based on group 4 metal and vanadium complexes bearing multidentate ligands. It summarizes the catalytic behavior of those catalysts in copolymerization of ethylene with 1-olefins, with styrenic monomers and with α,ω-alkenols. The review is focused on finding correlations between the structure of a complex, its catalyst activity and comonomer incorporation ability, as well as the microstructure of the copolymer chains.
Dimerization of Copper Octacarboxyphthalocyanine in Aqueous Solutions

Spectral absorption UV-Vis investigations on association of copper(II) octacarboxyphthalocyanine in aqueous solutions are reported. In 5.0x10-7-5.0x10-5 mol/dm3 concentration range monomers and dimers are mainly present. The calculated dimerization constant 106dm3/mol at 25°C and the hypsochromic spectral shift for the dimer 1164 cm-1 (688 nm_ 637 nm) indicate a stack-like association of molecules and suggestpi-pi interactions between Pc macrocycles in dimer and higher aggregates, in contrast to hydrogen bonding between carboxylic groups of adjacent Pc molecules.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the spatial changes in the Dijon urban area (COMADI) by studying in particular the new tendencies of localization of the high order producer services. Our results display a multicentric structure of the COMADI which exhibits several employment poles. Not only the economic composition of these poles differs between the central pole and the peripheral ones but this composition changes over the study period (1990-1999). New localization logics appear for the high order services : if the historical center remains specialized in financial activities, insurance and real estate (FIRE), the other producer services are more likely to be localized in the periphery.…

The term critical limb ischemia refers to a condition characterized by chronic ischemic at-rest pain, ulcers, or gangrene in one or both legs attributable to objectively proven arterial occlusive disease. The molecular geometry of the ionic title compound, C14H17N4+·I−or DAZOP+·I−, is essentially featureless. Regarding the crystal structure, in addition to the obvious cation–anion Coulombic interactions, the packing is mostly directed by non-covalent interactions involving both ring systems, as well as the iodide anion.
