Atomic Layer Deposition of Intermetallic Fe4Zn9 Thin Films from Diethyl Zinc

| openaire: EC/H2020/765378/EU//HYCOAT We present a new type of atomic layer deposition (ALD) process for intermetallic thin films, where diethyl zinc (DEZ) serves as a coreactant. In our proof-of-concept study, FeCl3 is used as the second precursor. The FeCl3 + DEZ process yields in situ crystalline Fe4Zn9 thin films, where the elemental purity and Fe/Zn ratio are confirmed by time-of-flight elastic recoil detection analysis (TOF-ERDA), Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS), atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) analyses. W artykule podjęto próbę określenia zmian w zakresie samoorganizacji społeczności wiejskiej Opolszczyzny z uwzględnieniem konstruktu kapitału społecznego. W tym celu wykorzystano dane uzyskane od osób kierujących gospodarstwami rolnymi zamieszkałych w wybranych gminach Opolszczyzny. Zostały one zebrane za pomocą kwestionariusza wywiadu. Kardiometabolās saslimšanas (KMS) ir viens no nozīmīgākajiem nāvi izraisošajiem faktoriem pasaulē, un, tā kā tās ir lielā mērā novēršamas, efektīvu preventīvo pasākumu ieviešanai nepieciešamas plašai populācijai pieejamas agrīnas KMS riska novērtēšanas un riska faktoru identificēšanas metodes. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis bija izvērtēt dzīvesveida faktoru ietekmes nozīmīgumu KMS riska pazīmju attīstībā. Pētījumā piedalījās 65 pieaugušie vecumā no 30 līdz 54 gadiem. While the vast majority of radicals are transient species, a large number of stable and persistent radicals are also known. This has enabled the use of radicals in different applications. Production and extraction of astaxanthin from Phaffia rhodozyma and its biological effect on alcohol-induced renal hypoxia in Carassius auratus

The effect of astaxanthin (3,3â²-dihydroxy-s-carotene-4,4â²-dione) on alcohol-induced morphological changes in Carassius auratus, as an experimental model, was determined. The yeast Phaffia rhodozyma was used as a source of astaxanthin. The animals were divided into three groups for 30 days: one group was treated with ethanol at a dose of 1.5% mixed in water, the second one with EtOH 1.5% and food enriched with astaxanthin from P. rhodozyma, and the third was a control group.
