Ar naftas produktiem vēsturisko piesārņojumu attīrīšanas potenciāla novērtēšana

Ar ogļūdeņražiem piesārņoto grunti testēja laboratorijas apstākļos 23 diennaktis ar mērķi, novērtēt biodegradācijas potenciālu grunts attīrīšanai. Tika izmantoti ogļūdeņražu piesārņoti augsnes paraugi, kas ņemti no [0 – 3] metru dziļuma. Kopumā darbam bija trīs varianti, katram divi atkārtojumi. Variantiem pievienoja dažādas piedevas, lai veiktu biostimulāciju, kā arī baktēriju konsorciju. Recipient Design by Gestures : How Depictive Gestures Embody Actions in Cooking Instructions

This paper investigates how depictive gestures, i.e., hand movements that depict actions, scenes or objects, are configured and used for accomplishing instructions. By drawing on video recordings of second language interactions in cooking classes for newcomers in Finland, we focus on instructions that project a certain type of complying bodily action as the relevant next action. We demonstrate that the instructions are designed to be sensitive not only to the contingencies of the material ecology of the kitchen but also to the epistemic and linguistic asymmetries between the participants. Tämän tutkimuksen lähtökohtana oli ajatus siitä, etteivät oppilaat ole luokkahuoneessa enää pelkästään tiedon passiivisia vastaanottajia vaan pikemminkin aktiivisia aloitteentekijöitä. Tavoitteena oli selvittää, miten ja millä kielellisillä keinoilla oppilaat saavat oman äänensä kuuluviin nykyajan oppitunneilla. Tarkastelin tutkimuksen taustoitukseksi aineistostani myös opettajan aloitteesta syntyneitä oppilaiden vuoroja, mutta tutkimuksen keskiössä olivat erityisesti oppilaiden oma-aloitteiset vuorot. Seizure prediction using intracranial electroencephalogram (iEEG) is still challenging because of complicated signals in spatial and time domains. Feature selection in the spatial domain (i.e., channel selection) has been largely ignored in this field. The environmental impact of noise from roads and highways traffic is relevant in urban and rural areas. The use of open-graded asphalt pavements reduces significantly the noise, entrapping the acoustic waves inside the porous structure of the material. In this paper we propose a simulation approach in order to predict the acoustic properties of the asphalt mixture from geometrical and topological indicators. This article is the first presentation of the excavation results following the developer-led archaeological project carried out between July and August 2012 at the site of Bel-Air, Sénas, Bouches-du-Rhône. Our current understanding of the diverse archaeological remains show that a densely occupied settlement existed within a relatively short-lived period during the second phase of the Late Neolithic in Provence, between 2880 and 2490 BC. The occupation is characterised by several phases of activity, which are at this stage of research, difficult to refine, but all of them being associated with the Couronnien group.
