This article is devoted to the analysis of the use of the Russian proverb by Polish Internet users: ”We’re getting it done, slowly but surely”. The analysis showed that the authors of the statements know the origin of this proverb, but misunderstand its meaning, which is caused by an interlanguage homonymy.

The purpose of this article is to introduce some features of the relationship between proverbs and gender in Finnish folklore tradition. I focus on pedagogical speech using proverbs in the life-stories from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The main interest is on bringing up children concentrating on the written memories and the everyday life of ordinary people. This deals with the private level of education in childhood memories.

En aquest treball ens hem proposat analitzar alguns dels europeismes fràsics presents al Llibre de paraules e dits de savis e filòsofs (entre 1291 i 1295) de Jafudà Bonsenyor, metge jueu de Barcelona. Es tracta d’una obra escrita en llengua catalana, a partir de “llibres aràbics”, útil per a l’estudi de la transmissió sapiencial d’Orient a Occident, a través d’Al Àndalus i Catalunya. Per a l’anàlisi, hem aplicat el mètode de concordances fràsiques, a partir del qual hem seleccionat, descrit, documentat, contrastat i validat deu proverbis com a europeismes. The aim of the article is to present the current state of research on the paremiography and paremiology of Cieszyn Silesia. The first part presents and describes collections of proverbs from the region of Cieszyn, from the end of the 19th century to contemporary times. The second one discusses theoretical works (including folkloristic, linguistic, linguistic and cultural ones) dealing with the problems of proverbs from the region of Cieszyn, investigated in yarious contexts and from different research perspectives.
