Perlecan is a heparan sulfate proteoglycan assembled into the vascular basement membranes (BMs) during vasculogenesis. In the present study we have investigated vessel formation in mice, teratomas and embryoid bodies (EBs) in the absence of perlecan. We found that perlecan was dispensable for blood vessel formation and maturation until embryonic day (E) 12.5. At later stages of development 40% of mutant embryos showed dilated microvessels in brain and skin, which ruptured and led to severe bleedings. Geometry calculations were performed on pure BaCeO(3) fragments and on Y- and In-doped derivatives. HF and DFT approaches were used to investigate monoclinic and orthorhombic structures. The computational methods, structural models, and electronic structure investigation protocols were tuned taking into consideration and balancing the consistency of the results against the computational cost. Some effects of color incongruity in a visual Ad

32; While the effects of an ad's colour on attitudes towards it have already been investigated, far less work has been done on the influence of incongruous colours. This paper examines the effects of an ad using an incongruous colour on several variables of the advertising persuasion process. Analyses of variance have been conducted for an experimental study involving 407 respondents. The results show that a colour that is incongruous with the ad or with the product advertised affects the elements of surprise, perceived provocation, attitudes towards the ad and the positive beliefs about it.

The interest in using bio-materials in pavement engineering has grown significantly over the last decades due to environmental concerns about the use of non-recoverable natural resources. In this paper, bio-materials are used together with Reclaimed Asphalt (RA) to restore some of the properties of the aged bitumen present in mixtures with high RA content. For this purpose, two bio-materials are studied and compared to conventional and polymer modified bitumens. Blends of these materials with RA bitumen were produced and studied to simulate a 50% RA mixture. Se pretende dar luz al fondo existente en la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Granada de los libros ingresados de la Casa de Osuna. Existía una parte identificada, pero al no disponer de un listado como otras Universidades, se han tenido que identificar las distintas marcas de procedencia uno a uno, trabajo lento y laborioso. También hemos recogido otras marcas de procedencia de otros poseedores de la Casa de Osuna, con supralibros, dedicatorias, o exlibris impresos y manuscritos.

El patrimonio bibliográfico adquirido a lo largo del tiempo por las órdenes religiosas, como es el fondo conservado en la Biblioteca provincial franciscana de Santiago, ha sido fruto de una actividad académica intensa que, en el momento actual, ante la escasez de vocaciones, corre un grave peligro por falta de recursos materiales y personales, lo que hace que las bibliotecas conventuales se encuentren abocadas al deterioro y posterior pérdida.
