This paper presents the characteristics of the species Ganoderma lucidum in terms of health-promoting properties. This species is rare in Poland, and is subject to strict protection. Reishi is classified as a medicinal mushroom which fruiting bodies are characterized by a content of active substances with diverse positive effects on human health. G. lucidum is particularly rich source of bioactive compounds, which are obtained from fruiting bodies, mycelium and spores of this species. 1. Organisms at the base of aquatic food webs synthesize essential nutrients, such as omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 PUFA), which are transferred to consumers at higher trophic levels. Many consumers, requiring n-3 long-chain (LC) PUFA, such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), have limited ability to biosynthesize them from the essential dietary precursor α-linolenic acid (ALA) and thus rely on dietary provision of LC-PUFA. 2. The MCWD is a useful indicator of meteorologically induced water stress without taking into account local soil conditions and plant adaptations, which are poorly understood in Amazonia. The small protein SCO2038 modulates tryptophan biosynthesis and morpho-physiological differentiation in Streptomyces coelicolor

In Streptomyces coelicolor small open reading frames were identified in several amino acids biosynthetic gene clusters, like SCO2038 (trpX) in the tryptophan trpCXBA locus. Here, the role of SCO2038, encoding a 63 amino acid protein, was investigated by both phenotypic and molecular analyses. A SCO2038 knockout mutant strain showed a delayed growth on minimal medium (MM), compromised actinorhodin biosynthesis and poor sporulation. The capability of this mutant to grow on MM was restored by tryptophan’s and its precursors’ supplementation. Jebkura uzņēmējdarbības forma pieprasa pilnvērtīgu grāmatvedības uzskaites veikšanu, kas pēdējo gadu laikā arvien biežāk tiek nodota grāmatvedības ārpakalpojumu sniedzējiem. Pētījuma mērķis ir, veicot grāmatvedības ārpakalpojumu nozares izpēti un analīzi un pamatojoties uz pētījumā iegūtajiem rezultātiem, definēt nozarē pastāvošos riskus un šīs jomas attīstības iespējas, kā arī sniegt priekšlikumus un rekomendācijas grāmatvedības ārpakalpojumu nozares darbības uzlabošanai. Pētījuma ietvaros tika konstatēti būtiski nozari ietekmējoši riski, kā arī izvirzīti priekšlikumi to mazināšanai. Darbs sastāv no ievada, trim nodaļām, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem.

Darbā tiek aplūkota tulkojumu kvalitātes novērtēšana kā kvalitātes nodrošināšanas sistēmas sastāvdaļa, pievēršot īpašu uzmanību tulkotāju atlases procesā kandidātiem piedāvāto testa tulkojumu kvalitātes vērtēšanai. Darba mērķis ir piedāvāt tulkojumu kvalitātes novērtēšanas sistēmu un ar tās palīdzību veikt testa tulkojumu korpusa kļūdu analīzi, tādējādi pārbaudot sistēmas piemērojamību tulkojumu vērtēšanai. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää resurssierityislastentarhanopettajan työnkuvaa lapsen sosioemotionaalisen kehityksen tukijana. Tästä näkökulmasta tutkimuksessa kartoitettiin relton toimenkuvaa ja työn tavoitteita. Teacher emotional support in relation to social competence in preschool classrooms

The present study aimed to investigate the associations between teachers’ observed emotional support and social competence among Finnish pre-schoolers (6-year-olds). The quality of emotional support was observed using the Classroom Assessment Scoring System Pre-K in 47 preschool classrooms twice across the preschool year. Teachers rated children’s social competence in autumn and again in spring, using the Multisource Assessment of Social Competence Scale (MASCS), which produced sum scores for cooperating skills, empathy, impulsivity, and disruptiveness.
