Komersanta firmas izvēle un ierobežojumi.
2019
Līdz ar to darbā sīkāk tiek apskatīti iespējamie firmas izvēles ierobežojumi gan praksē, gan teorijā, sniedzot plašāku ieskatu firmas izvēles ierobežojumos gan no Uzņēmumu reģistra, gan uzņēmuma …
Notiesāto personu nodarbinātība ieslodzījuma vietā
2018
Bakalaura darba temats ir „Notiesāto personu nodarbinātība ieslodzījuma vietā”. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt notiesāto personu nodarbinātību ieslodzījuma vietā, analizēt, kā tiek iesaistīti komersanti notiesāto personu nodarbināšanā ieslodzījuma vietā un sniegt priekšlikumus prakses uzlabošanai. Kā problēmjautājumu autore formulē notiesāto personu nodarbināšanas nepieciešamību ieslodzījuma vietā un nepieciešamību vairāk iesaistīt komersantus notiesāto personu nodarbinātībā. Bakalaura darbā izvirzītā mērķa sasniegšanai, tiek izvirzīti šādi uzdevumi: 1)noskaidrot resocializācijas jēdzienu un nozīmi; 2)analizēt, kāpēc ir nepieciešams nodarbināt notiesātās personas ieslodzījuma vietā; 3)iz…

Restoration and Enhancement of Historical Stereo Photos
2021
Restoration of digital visual media acquired from repositories of historical photographic and cinematographic material is of key importance for the preservation, study and transmission of the legacy of past cultures to the coming generations. In this paper, a fully automatic approach to the digital restoration of historical stereo photographs is proposed, referred to as Stacked Median Restoration plus (SMR+). The approach exploits the content redundancy in stereo pairs for detecting and fixing scratches, dust, dirt spots and many other defects in the original images, as well as improving contrast and illumination. This is done by estimating the optical flow between the images, and using it …
Teachers as learners : a qualitative exploration of pre-service and in-service teachers’ continuous learning community OpenDigi

This study explores pre-service and in-service teachers’ experiences in working as a learning community. Pre-service teachers (N = 60) and teacher educators (N = 9) from a Finnish university and in-service teachers (N = 27) from four local comprehensive schools worked together over six months. The teachers-as-learners continuous learning model was created and implemented in practice. Dialogic Learning Environments That Enhance Instrumental Learning and Inclusion of Students With Special Needs in Secondary Education
2021
Across Europe, the enrolment of students with special educational needs in regular classrooms is increasing, although it does not always mean access to high quality educational experience. In this context, inclusive education has been enhanced in most educational systems, but its successful implementation is still limited and has become a challenge in most countries, and specially in secondary education, when segregation due to learning achievement is more frequent. Educational practices that take into account the potential of promoting learning interactions within heterogeneous groups of students have already demonstrated contributing to educational inclusion of students with special needs…
Teacher attitudes in Italy after 40 years of inclusion
2019
In 1977, Italy adopted a policy to fully include students with disabilities in mainstream classrooms. This study surveyed the attitudes of Italian teachers towards inclusive education 40 years after this reform. The data were collected from 153 basic school teachers using the Teachers' Attitudes towards Inclusion Scale (TAIS). The results indicate that the Italian teachers had a high level of commitment to inclusive education. Approximately 90% of the respondents agreed that students with special educational needs should be educated in mainstream classrooms, and only 7% felt that they should be transferred to special education classrooms instead. To improve the quality of inclusive educatio…
