A critical role for the cholesterol-associated proteolipids PLP and M6B in myelination of the central nervous system.

The formation of central nervous system myelin by oligodendrocytes requires sterol synthesis and is associated with a significant enrichment of cholesterol in the myelin membrane. However, it is unknown how oligodendrocytes concentrate cholesterol above the level found in nonmyelin membranes. Here, we demonstrate a critical role for proteolipids in cholesterol accumulation. Mice lacking the most abundant myelin protein, proteolipid protein (PLP), are fully myelinated, but PLP-deficient myelin exhibits a reduced cholesterol content. Darbā aprakstīta triju mezglu bojājumpiecietīgas virtuālo serveru izmitināšanas vides izveide, kas sevī iekļauj koplietojamas augstas pieejamības disku apakšsistēmas izveidi un šī kompleksa bojājumpiecietības un ātrdarbības aspekti. Darba mērķis ir rast risinājumu bojājumpiecietīgas virtuālo serveru izmitināšanas vides izveidei, izmantojot trīs fiziskus serverus, kas atbilst iestādes norādītajām prasībām. Rezultātā izveidota strādājoša vide, kur vienas komponentes kļūme nerada risinājuma nodrošināto servisu zaudlaiku, kā arī noskaidrotas Ceph un augstas pieejamības virtualizācijas klastera izmantošanas nianses, ātrdarbība un risinājumi dažādu kļūmju situācijās.

Cercospora beticola Sacc. jest najgroźniejszym patogenem liści buraka cukrowego we wszystkich rejonach uprawy tej rośliny. W niniejszym opracowaniu zebrano najważniejszą wiedzę dotyczącą pozycji systematycznej, biologii, morfologii grzyba oraz jego żywicieli. Opisano warunki, w których dochodzi do infekcji roślin gospodarza oraz wpływ warunków atmosferycznych na rozwój choroby na roślinach. Podano podstawowe informacje na temat rozprzestrzeniania się oraz zimowania C. beticola w warunkach naturalnych. Opisano wpływ na rośliny gospodarza oraz powodowane straty w plonie korzeni i cukru. Całość zagadnienia omówiono w oparciu o polską i światową szeroką bazę literaturową.

Olej należy do najważniejszych elementów naturalnych, jakie weszły do liturgii Kościoła. Chociaż używa się go w różnych obrzędach sakramentalnych i pozasakramentalnych, to jednak najbogatszą wymowę teologiczną zyskał w obrzędach chrześcijańskiej inicjacji. Niniejsze studium stanowi refleksję nad rolą i znaczeniem oleju w liturgii chrzcielnej w tradycji syro-orientalnej. W pierwszej kolejności przypomniana została nomenklatura związana z namaszczeniami w tradycjach syryjskich.
