Recent excavations at " Au-dessus de Bergis " in Gevrey-Chambertin (Burgundy, France) brought to light in 2008 and 2009 numerous, rectangular aligned pits interpreted as an ancient vineyard dated from the mid-first, mid-second century to the third century AD. The vineyard measured at least one hectare in area and was bounded to the south by a hedge or fence. It was composed of parallel rows oriented 6° N that may have been trained over and along high, inclined wooden frames. Vine stocks were renewed by layering, over several generations of plants. The quarantine bacterium Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis (Cmm) is the agent of tomato bacterial canker (TBC), one of the most destructive bacterial diseases of this crop, that causes severe economic losses worldwide. During a recent outbreak of TBC in Sicily (insular Italy), it was impossible to amplify the pat-1 gene by PCR with CMM5/CMM6 primers from affected greenhouse-grown plants from three farms, although Cmm-like colonies were consistently isolated. Mērķis bija novērtēt fiksācijas disparitātes saistību ar konverģences nepietiekamību. Pētījumam bija divas daļas: 1. grupā bija 5 dalībnieki ar konverģences nepietiekamību, kas veica 12 nedēļu ilgu redzes terapiju, lai izvērtētu tās ietekmi uz binokulārajām funkcijām, lasīšanas ātrumu, CISS vērtējumu un fiksācijas disparitāti; 2. grupā bija 51 dalībnieks, kuri aizpildīja CISS aptauju un veica fiksācijas disparitātes mērījumus, lai izvērtētu šo divu parametru saistību. This dissertation explored the effects of strength and balance training (SBT) as part of a multimodal geriatric intervention on physical functioning and health-related factors associated with training participation in a community-dwelling population aged 75 years and over. Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 27. lappasspusēm, satur 12 attēlus, 1. tabulu un tajā ir atsauksmes uz 21. literatūras avotu. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt redzes asumu uzlabojošo treniņu efektivitāti. Viens no iemesliem pazeminātai redzei var būt palielināta tuvuma slodze, kā arī pazeminātas spējas veikt dažādus vizuālos uzdevumus. Trenējot šīs spējas, redzes sistēma labāk pielāgojas palielinātai tuvuma slodzei. Pētījumā piedalījās 24 bērni, kuriem tika doti dažādi redzes treniņi 3 mēnešu periodā. This study assesses the interaction of the postural control system and the production of expressive vocal behavior during speech and singing. In particular, we focus on the head, whose motions have been implicated for both postural control and spoken language production. How does head motion behavior simultaneously serve posture control and linguistic communication during vocalization? This study examines the interaction of these two subsystems by measuring the effects of different levels of vocal effort (loudness) on speech and singing.
