Ultrasound is commonly performed to diagnose pathological processes of the neck and the salivary glands. In contrast, pathological changes of the sinuses and the bony structures of the face are only rarely examined sonographically. This paper deals with the diagnostic scope of ultrasound in the case of orbital and nasal fractures as well as for cases of sinus pathology excluding acute sinusitis. 51 patients with different diseases of this area were examined using US and X-ray or CT scan. Si illustrano le misure degli spostamenti e delle pressioni neutre raccolte in un paio d’anni di osservazione del comportamento di un esteso corpo di frana in una formazione di argille varicolori in Sicilia. L’analisi delle misure raccolte indica che la riattivazione riguarda zone distinte del corpo di frana, nelle quali gli spostamenti si sviluppano con velocità e direzioni differenti. Maxillary bone lesions in McCune-Albright syndrome:a case report

Abstract Objectives In this study, we report on the clinical maxillary manifestations of a patient affected by McCune-Albright syndrome and the implications for orthodontic therapy. Materials and methods A male, 8-year-old patient was examined at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of L’Aquila for a problem of anterior open-bite. In the clinical examination, a small swelling of the left hemi-maxilla was seen in the area corresponding to the root apex of 16 and under the tooth buds of 14 and 15. Objective: Tumours of the nasal septum are a rare and heterogeneous group of lesions in the sinonasal tract. The management of the different lesions of this site is debated. The aim of this study is to share our experience on a rare clinical condition and stimulate other centres to publish theirs. Methods: We retrospectively analysed the databases of sinonasal tumours treated at the Sections of Otolaryngology (ENT) of two University Hospitals (Palermo and Genova) between 2012 and 2020. In this thesis relations between neutrino mixing matrix and quark mixing matrix are studied. The focus of the analysis is on two simple cases. In the first case it is assumed that the left matrix that diagonalizes the mass matrix of charged leptons and the corresponding matrix of down quarks are equal. In the second case it is likewise assumed that the corresponding diagonalizing matrices of neutrinos and up quarks are equal. First, theoretical concepts related to the mixing of quarks and especially to the mixing of neutrinos are presented. Rinīta ārstēšanā tiek izmantoti dekongestanti, intranazālie kortikosteroīdi, deguna skalošanas līdzekļi, deguna mitrinātājpreparāti un uz augu bāzes veidoti iesmidzināmie un pilināmie līdzekļi. Maģistra darba mērķis ir apkopot rinīta gadījumā izmantojamo preparātu apriti 2 Rīgas un 2 Daugavpils aptiekās, kā arī veikt anketēšanu, lai noskaidrotu pacientu viedokli par rinīta ārstēšanā izmantojamajiem preparātiem un to pareizu lietošanu. Al presente, dada la poca evidencia experimental existente, se hace difícil llegar a conclusiones sobre la efectividad de los padres como agentes protagónicos en la implantación de los SCAA con sus hijos. Con el interés de aportar en esta dirección, el trabajo que se presenta se centra en el estudio de la efectividad de un Programa de Capacitación ofrecido a padres de niños con parálisis cerebral.
