Is triploidy indisputably determinable in hybridogenetic hybrids by planimetric analyses of erythrocytes?

The size of amphibian erythrocytes is positively correlated to their DNA content. Therefore, planimetry of erythrocytes has long been used to determine ploidy levels in amphibians. In Rana esculenta. a hybrid originating from Rana ridibunda x Rana lessonae natural crosses, planimetric determination of erythrocyte size is used to distinguish diploid and triploid specimen. In the present study we performed planimetric analyses on the hybrid Rana grafi, comprising a second hybridogenetic system with its parental species Rana ridibunda and Rana perezi in southern parts of France. The importance of the pericardium and the pericardial fluid (PF) in the control of cardiac function has emerged over the past few years. Despite the acknowledgment that amphibians are exposed to both dehydration and excessive water accumulation, nothing is known about their pericardial structure and the morphological basis of the PF formation. We have studied the parietal pericardium (PP) morphology in Rana esculenta by electron microscopy. The South Pole Telescope (SPT) has probed an expanded angular range of the CMB temperature power spectrum. Their recent analysis of the latest cosmological data prefers nonzero neutrino masses, with Sigma m(nu) = (0.32 +/- 0.11) eV. This result, if con firmed by the upcoming Planck data, has deep implications on the discovery of the nature of neutrinos. In particular, the values of the effective neutrino mass m(beta beta) involved in neutrinoless double beta decay (beta beta 0 nu) are severely constrained for both the direct and inverse hierarchy, making a discovery much more likely. Este trabajo pretende conocer cuáles son los instrumentos de evaluación y diagnóstico que utilizan los profesionales que trabajan en los Centros de Atención Temprana de la Comunidad Valenciana, así como la frecuencia de utilización y grado de satisfacción de estos profesionales en relación a los instrumentos que utilizan para la evaluación de los niños. La recogida de datos se realizó entre los profesionales en activo de los centros de Atención Temprana de la comunidad valenciana a través de un cuestionario electrónico. Determination and analysis of in situ spectral aerosol optical properties by a multi-instrumental approach

Continuous in situ measurements of aerosol optical properties were conducted from 29 June to 29 July 2012 in Granada (Spain) with a seven-wavelength Aethalometer, a Multi-Angle Absorption Photometer, and a three-wavelength integrating nephelometer. The aim of this work is to describe a methodology to obtain the absorption coefficients (babs) for the different Aethalometer wavelengths. In this way, data have been compensated using algorithms which best estimate the compensation factors needed.
