Recognizing Video Resolution by Monitoring Memory Metrics in Mobile Clients

Content delivery is one of the most successful applications in mobile networks. Mobile edge servers are significantly contributing to the improvement of this type of applications, by also performing resolution adaptations as a function of the radio link quality observed by the users. In this paper, we face the problem of dynamically tracking the perceived video resolution by mobile clients in a mobile edge environment to guarantee an agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). To this purpose, we propose a protocol-agnostic approach, based on monitoring some memory metrics of a running video streaming process at the mobile client, for identifying the time-varying resolution of the video content.

W dalszej części przedstawiono zastosowanie profilaktyki pozytywnej w środowisku rodzinnym, gdzie wyróżniono i opisano wybrane strategie oparte na zasobach środowiska rodzinnego. Artykuł zakończony jest rekomendacjami dla proponowanych strategii.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących lęku jako aktualnego stanu bądź jako cechy osobowości, poziomu odczuwanego stresu oraz sposobów radzenia sobie z nim przez policjantów Wydziału Kryminalnego oraz Prewencji i Ruchu Drogowego. Założenia dotyczące celu badania wskazywały na wyższy poziom lęku i stresu u policjantów Wydziału Kryminalnego. Hipotezy te związane były z charakterem pracy mundurowych danego oddziału. W artykule zostanie przeprowadzona analiza statusu prawnego wyodrębnionych kościelnych jednostek organizacyjnych, o których mowa w art. 12 Ustawy z dnia 17 maja 1989 r. o stosunku państwa do Kościoła katolickiego w Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, uznanych przez właściwego miejscowo dyrektora izby administracji skarbowej za odrębne podmioty podatkowe. Purpose:Direct measurement of mammographic x-ray spectra under clinical conditions is a difficult task due to the high fluence rate of the x-ray beams as well as the limits in the development of high resolution detection systems in a high counting rate environment. In this work we present a detection system, based on a CdTe detector and an innovative digital pulse processing (DPP) system, for high-rate x-ray spectroscopy in mammography. This paper reports the results of an analysis of process wastewater streams in the context of an increase in yeast production. This research is based on the analysis of data from the biggest yeast factory in Europe. The research presented in this paper involves the analysis of the influence of direction of additional wastewater into the evaporator station on yeast production. Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitimme, mitä tarjottavaa koulujen kansainvälisillä yhteistyöhankkeilla on vieraan kielen oppimiseen ja opettamiseen. Kielitaito on yksi tulevaisuuden avaintaidoista, ja uudet perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman perusteet painottavat autenttisuutta ja viestinnällisyyttä vieraan kielen opettamisessa. Tässä tutkimuksessa keskityimme tarkastelemaan, miten autenttisuus on läsnä kansainvälisen yhteistyöhankkeen synnyttämissä kielenkäyttötilanteissa. Public relations scholarship has drawn on organisational legitimacy theory to show how organisations appeal to stakeholders’ acceptance of their existence and importance in society. Studies have shown how different types of organisations utilise communication strategies in social media to gain legitimacy.
