Abstract Background In contrast to earlier assumptions, there is now mounting evidence for the role of tundra soils as important sources of the greenhouse gas nitrous oxide (N2O). However, the microorganisms involved in the cycling of N2O in this system remain largely uncharacterized. Abstract [W(N2O2)(HN2O2)] (H4N2O2 = N,N′-bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2-phenylenediamine) with a noninnocent ligand was formed by reaction of the alkoxide precursor [W(eg)3] (eg = the 1,2-ethanediolate dianion) with two equivalents of ligand. The phenol groups on one of the ligands are completely deprotonated and the ligand coordinates in a tetradentate fashion, whereas the other ligand is tridentate with one phenol having an intact OH group. The molecular structure, magnetic measurements, EPR spectroscopy, and density functional theory calculations indicate that the complex is a stable radical with the odd electron situated on the tridentate amidophenoxide ligand. (Aminoferrocenyl)(ferrocenyl)carbene(pentacarbonyl)tungsten(0) (CO)5W=C(NHFc)Fc (W(CO)5(E-2)) is synthesized by nucleophilic substitution of the ethoxy group of (CO)5W=C(OEt)Fc (M(CO)5(1Et)) by ferrocenyl amide Fc-NH– (Fc = ferrocenyl). W(CO)5(E-2) thermally and photochemically eliminates bulky E-1,2-diferrocenylimine (E-3) via a formal 1,2-H shift from the N to the carbene C atom. La c.d. restorative justice (RJ) si inserisce a pieno titolo e in modo significativo nel processo di “riscoperta della vittima” nel sistema penale. Eppure, nonostante l’indubbia vocazione vittimo-centrica della RJ, in alcuni recenti interventi normativi europei sembra delinearsi un atteggiamento di cautela, se non di sfiducia, verso l’applicazione “su larga scala” della RJ, specie qualora il reato riguardi soggetti vulnerabili. Demonstrating measure-correlate-predict algorithms for estimation of wind resources in central Finland

In this study, measure-correlate-predict (MCP) algorithms - Simple Linear Regression and Variance Ratio Methods - for predicting wind speed were studied. The MCP algorithms were successfully used to predict missing wind speeds at two sites in Jyväskylä and Viitasaari, respectively. These two algorithms used data from one of the site to predict missing wind speed data at the other site. The results obtained using the MCP methods were compared using metrics that showed the characteristics of the predicted data to be unbiased compared to measured data. Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 31 lapas, tas satur 12 attēlus, 3 tabulas, 1 pielikumu un 41 atsauci uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija novērtēt tuvredzības veidošanās riskus jauniešiem un pieaugušajiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 219 dalībnieki vecumā no 16 līdz 62 gadiem, kas aizpildīja aptaujas anketas, kurās norādīja optiskās korekcijas izmantošanu, datus par refrakciju, acu traumām, slimībām, pēdējo redzes pārbaudes vizīti. Datus, kas attiecas uz šādiem riska faktoriem: tuvredzība vecākiem, ārā pavadītais laiks, mācībām veltītais laiks.
