The article scrutinises the main narratives adopted by the E.U., the U.S. and China in the fight for digital sovereignty. It analyses the ongoing dialogue between legal systems that is taking place in the digital sphere to ponder on the role of comparative law in this dialogue. With legal systems called to apply a territorial law to a global phenomenon, comparative law proves to be a fundamental tool in the dispute for digital sovereignty, widely employed across legal formants, with a critical role in creating a distinctive identity for the legal systems.

Tässä artikkelissa tutkimme suomalaisten englanninopettajien käsityksiä maahanmuuttajaoppilaista, joilla on monikielinen tausta, vieraan kielen luokkahuoneessa. Aiemmat tutkimukset monikielisistä oppijoista ovat keskittyneet toisen kielen oppimiseen tai oppijan äidinkieleen. The Sri Lanka Norway Music Cooperation (2009–2018) was launched to ‘stimulate the performing arts in Sri Lanka, thus contributing to the peace and reconciliation process’ in the aftermath of almost three decades of civil war between the Tamil minority and Sinhala majority populations of the island. From 1931 onward, Fascist Italy tried to influence Spanish politics through a combination of formal diplomatic action and clandestine support for monarchist conspirators. Spain did not, however, become an axis of Italy's foreign affairs until the outbreak of the Civil War in 1936. Supporting Franco was a way of helping to destroy international Communism and the democratic challenge and also served Mussolini's claims to Italian hegemony in the Mediterranean. ‘To Make a People Out of a Mere Population’: Sovereignty and Governmentality in Hegemonic Russian Cultural Policy

Abstract The paper claims that contemporary Russian cultural policy has been determined by political transformations associated with the political project to establish sovereignty that has organized Putin’s regime since 2012. The idea behind it is traced to Putin’s 2006 intention ‘to make a people out of a mere population’. To understand that intention, and to explain the contribution of culture and cultural policy to its concretization, the paper draws on Foucault’s account of sovereignty and governmentality, and the development of the Gramscian notion of hegemony. Esta investigación presenta la aportación que la disponibilidad léxica tiene en el marco de la enseñanza de Español como Lengua Extranjera y el ámbito infantil. Para poder desarrollar esta tarea se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica sistemática que presenta a aquellos trabajos publicados sobre léxico disponible.
