“Muzeja sērijas” trešā grāmata “Ferdinands Erdmanis Štolls. Sēņu pasaule.” Tā ir neliels ieskats mikologa F. E. Štolla (Ferdinand. Erdman Stoll; 1874–1966) vairāk kā 1000 lapu lielajā sēņu attēlu kolekcijā, ko zinātnieks ir izveidojis pētot Latvijas sēnes un, kas pamatā sastāv no paša pētnieka zīmētajiem akvareļiem. Sir Thomas More's Utopia : An overlooked economic classic

Sir Thomas More's Utopia, published in 1516, is a classic work of how to organise a society based on common property. With a unique mix of common property, institutions and sound economic insights, we argue that More built a framework for a society that could be viable in the long run. While the conditions that make Utopia work are quite restrictive, it does provide a sketch of a society where common property may not stifle long‐term development, but is associated with productive workers and people content with their lives.

Vuonna 1995 Irlannin tasavallan hallitus päätti pitää jo toistamiseen kansanäänestyksen avioeron laillistamisesta. Ensimmäistä kertaa kansanäänestys oli pidetty asian tiimoilta vuonna 1986. Tällöin lakiehdotus ei mennyt läpi yli 60 % äänestäessä sitä vastaan. Vuonna 1995 tilanne oli kuitenkin toinen, ja lakiehdotus meni läpi vajaalla 9 000 äänellä. Irlanti oli ollut hyvin konservatiivinen valtio, jonka perustuslaki oli taannut valtion suojelevan perhettä yhteiskunnan tärkeimpänä instituutiona. Religiosity and social support in Polish older adults: the mediating role of wisdom. Perspectives on Lars Tornstam’s theory of gerotranscendence

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine whether wisdom is a mediator in the relation-ships between religious meaning system and social support among older adults. According to the theory of gerotranscendence, associations of religiousness and social support are complex and sug- gest the existence of wisdom in their internal structures. Method: The study included 466 persons aged 50–75. Three measures were used: Religious Meaning System Scale (RMSS), Three-Dimensional Wisdom Scale (3D-WS) and Berlin Social Support Scales (BSSS). Radical Besinnung in Formale und transzendentale Logik (1929)

This paper explicates Husserl’s usage of what he calls “radical Besinnung” in Formale und transzendentale Logik (1929). Husserl introduces radical Besinnung as his method in the introduction to FTL. Radical Besinnung aims at criticizing the practice of formal sciences by means of transcendental phenomenological clarification of its aims and presuppositions.
