On February 14, 2022, the philosophy doctoral students organised the section “Freedom and Word” within the framework of the 80th International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia. The collection contains proceedings read by doctoral students of the philosophy program. The proceedings reflect the topicality of freedom and word in the crosssection of the 21st century. The authors address the similitude and unifying aspects of individual and societal freedom, freedom as a practice, the borderline situations of using the word, and the relationship between the word and freedom.
