This article is concerned with the description of rehabilitative training aimed at severely and moderately preterm children at preschool age who display impairments of processes of selective attention, self-control and problem solving and who are at risk of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders. Karsējamā tabaka ir vēl jauns un ne līdz galam izpētīts smēķēšanas veids, tādēļ šī darba mērķis bija noskaidrot karsējamās tabakas ietekmi un sirds un asinsvadu sistēmas veselības marķieriem, tuvāk aplūkojot sistēmiskā asinsspiediena rādītājus, kā arī veicot kopējās miega artērijas morfoloģiskos un funkcionālos izmeklējumus. Pētījumā piedalījās 15 sievietes vecuma grupā no 19-25, no tām 8 dalībnieces bija karsējamās tabakas lietotājas ikdienā, bet 7 dalībnieces iepriekš nav lietojušas nikotīnu saturošus produktus. Background: Stent Encrustation is an uncommon event (13%) with a significant impact in patients' management. Aim of our study was to evaluate the available grading systems for encrusted stents. Methods: A retrospective analysis of encrusted stents was performed in four Italian centers between 2006 and 2020. Effect of temperature on anaerobic treatment of black water in UASB-septic tank systems

The effect of northern European seasonal temperature changes and low temperature on the performance of upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB)-septic tanks treating black water was studied. Three UASB-septic tanks were monitored with different operational parameters and at different temperatures. The results indicated the feasibility of the UASB-septic tank for (pre)treatment of black water at low temperatures with respect to removal of suspended solids and dissolved organic material. Il contributo si propone di scandagliare la tensione, cui si trova la pubblica amministrazione, tra esigenze di semplificazione e ricerca di forme di partecipazione inclusive. Partendo da una disamina del contesto attuale, dei problemi collegati al digital divide, si analizza la portata del rapporto tra innovazione sociale e welfare digitale nella pubblica amministrazione. Si approfondisce altresì il tema delle ICT come strumenti di benessere sociale, anche in funzione di trasparenza. Nuovi modelli di condivisione delle scelte: “decisioni a rete e in rete”.

Deguna ventilācijas novērtējums pacientiem ar hronisku obstruktīvu plaušu slimību

Hroniska obstruktīva plaušu slimība (HOPS) ir elpceļu hronisks iekaisums, kas izraisa pārmaiņas ne tikai perifēros elpceļos, bet arī pārējos elpceļos. Pieaug arī pierādījumu skaits saistībā ar HOPS par pārmaiņām deguna gļotādā, kas ietekmē elpošanu caur degunu. Darba mērķis bija salīdzinoši novērtēt deguna pretestības pārmaiņas pacientiem ar HOPS un noskaidrot sakarības starp deguna pretestību un plaušu funkcionālajiem rādītājiem. Pacientiem ar HOPS (n = 26) un atbilstoša vecuma kontroles grupai (n =15) tika veikta rinomanometrija ar četru fāzu rinomanomanometru (Reff, Reffin un Reffex) un spirometrija (FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC (%)).
