Understanding politics as a contingent and controversial activity, politicisation refers to those activities that create or make visible the political quality in the phenomena in question. Parliamentarisation is a distinct strategy of politicisation. In this chapter, parliament refers to a certain procedural and institutional ideal type of acting politically. The parliamentary way of politicising acting and thinking forms a Gedankenbild, a mental image. It is an ideal type that one-sidedly accentuates and intensifies the political way of thinking. The research topic of this dissertation is the press of the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP) from the March revolution of 1917 in Russia to the end of the Finnish Civil War in the spring of 1918. Under research are 16 party papers, which, however, were not owned by the party, and therefore neither under its guidance nor control. The papers' owners, local working class organizations, elected the editors-in-chief, who often held central posts in the party. In this way they could use their relatively independent positions to further their political views in their editorials. Tutkimuksessa analysoitiin musiikin toimintaa peliretoriikkana kolmessa videopelissä. Analyyseissa pyrittiin osoittamaan, kuinka musiikki luo merkityksiä samanaikaisesti suhteessa pelin ytimeen ja osana pelijärjestelmän kuorta, motivoiden pelaajaa, antaen pelaajalle palautetta, välittäen pelaajalle tietoa muuttuvasta pelitilanteesta ja viestimällä pelin lopputuloksesta. Analyyseissa erotettiin kolme musiikillisen merkityksen muodostamisen tapaa: musiikilliset konventiot, sopimuksen varaiset viittaukset sekä musiikin ja toisen peliretoriikan muodon välille syntyvät metaforisest merkitysrakenteet.
