Integrated Domain Model for Digital Rights Management

2004

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is an issue of controlling and managing digital rights over intellectual property. It has recently broadened its scope from being merely a content protection concern to description, identification, trading, protection, monitoring and tracking of rights over tangible or intangible assets. Crisis del Estado Social en Europa: efectos en la generación del constitucionalismo social en América Latina

Resumen: En Europa el Estado social se está erosionando frente a una sociedad que por un lado está perdiendo la motivación, mientras que por otro intenta resistir. Religion and the Scandinavian Welfare State: Public Support for Socio-economic Rights in Times of Migration

2020

The theme of this article is the legitimisation of social and economic rights within the context of the Scandinavian welfare state. This problem has become more prominent in the light of the recent influx of immigrants from countries in the Middle East and Africa dominated by other religious and cultural traditions than Lutheran Protestantism. Two questions are discussed in the article. First, what role has religion played vis-a-vis the development of the welfare states in Scandinavia? Second, in what ways have recent immigration trends influenced popular support for welfare provision and social rights?

Museums as Disseminators of Niche Knowledge

2019

Accessibility has been facing several challenges within Audiovisual Translation Studies and has also gained great opportunities for its establishment as a methodologically and theoretically well-founded discipline. Audiovisual translation modes have achieved a crucial role in the transmission of what scholarly studies have discussed in relation to media accessibility as a set of services and practices providing access to audiovisual media content for persons with sensory impairment. Today accessibility has become a concept involving more and more universality, since it is extensively contributing to the dissemination of audiovisual and visual products about issues on minorities, and also ad…
