Suolistomikrobiston yhteys kardiometabolisten sairauksien riskitekijöihin ylipainoisilla tutkittavilla

Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa selvitettiin suolistomikrobiston koostumuksen yhteyksiä kardiometabolisten sairauksien riskitekijöihin ylipainoisilla naisilla. Myös kuuden viikon kestävyysharjoittelun vaikutuksia tarkasteltiin tutkittavien suolistomikrobiston koostumukseen ja kardiometabolisiin riskitekijöihin. Lopuksi tarkasteltiin vielä muuttujien muutosten välisiä yhteyksiä. Tässä työssä on käytetty Munukan ym. (2018) tutkimuksen aineistoa. Purpose Hand grip strength (HGS) is a widely used indicator of overall muscle strength and general health. We computed a polygenic risk score (PRS) for HGS, and examined, whether it predicted muscle strength, functional capacity and disability outcomes. Methods Genome-wide association study summary statistics for HGS from the Pan-UK Biobank was utilized. PRSs were calculated in the Finnish Twin Study on Aging (N = 429 women, 63–76 years). Dane pochodzące z Centrum Badań Opinii Społecznej wskazują, że dziewięciu na dziesięciu dorosłych Polaków stosuje suplementację, a sportowcy wielokrotnie sięgają po kilka suplementów jednocześnie. Korzystanie z suplementów zależy przede wszystkim od rodzaju uprawianej dyscypliny sportowej i wzrasta wraz z intensywnością treningu oraz wiekiem respondentów. Purpose of the study: To test the predictive value of the Groningen Frailty Indicator (GFI), Vulnerable Elders Survey 13 (VES-13), timed “get up and go” and Preoperative Assessment of Cancer in Elderly (PACE) for postoperative mortality and morbidity. Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja problemów związanych z wdrażaniem w gospodarstwach rolnych województwa opolskiego strategii zrównoważonej intensyfikacji. Materiał pierwotny do badań zebrano w 2014 roku metodą wywiadu kwestionariuszowego w 100 celowo dobranych gospodarstwach rolnych o powierzchni powyżej 10 ha UR w subregionach reprezentatywnych dla rolnictwa regionu.
