In the present article has been analysed portrayals of older women which appear in the memoirs of the nineteenth century Russian women writers. J. Sushkova, A. Kern and A. Smirnova-Rosset in their memoirs most often depict remarkable family members such as grandmothers and aunts, family friends. They focus on the analysis of their personalities, spiritual values and kind-heartedness rather than their physical appearance and signs of physical aging. The novel ’s love story takes place in France ’s collective memory, but it also refers to the individual memory of a woman evoking past events. Consequently, the encounter with another human being (a man) allows her to confront her personal trauma. This confrontation can be perceived as a quest for one ’s own identity and history, i.e. the alienation history of an individual who – due to an unhappy love affair – cannot escape either the past or oblivion. AbstractWe propose a decision support approach, called DESMILS, to solve multi-item lot sizing problems with a large number of items by using single-item multiobjective lot sizing models. This approach for making lot sizing decisions considers multiple conflicting objective functions and incorporates a decision maker’s preferences to find the most preferred Pareto optimal solutions. DESMILS applies clustering, and items in one cluster are treated utilizing preferences that the decision maker has provided for a representative item of the cluster. ABSTRACT Two meteorite pieces have been recovered in Italy, near the town of Cavezzo (Modena), on 2020 January 4th. The associated fireball was observed on the evening of New Year’s Day 2020 by eight all-sky cameras of the PRISMA fireball network, a partner of FRIPON. The computed trajectory had an inclination angle of approximately 68° and a velocity at infinity of 12.8 km s−1. Together with the relatively low terminal height, estimated as 21.5 km, those values were indicating the significant possibility of a meteorite dropping event, as additionally confirmed by the non-zero residual total mass. They iteratively incorporate the decision maker's preference information to find the best balance among conflicting objectives. Several interactive methods have been developed in the literature. Suomalaisen metsäpolitiikan keskeinen päämäärä on jo yli sadan vuoden ajan ollut puuntuotannollinen kestävyys, mutta metsätalouden kestävyyden tarkastelu on laajentunut yhteiskunnallisten tarpeiden ja arvostusten muuttumisen myötä. Nykyisin metsäpolitiikan tavoitteeksi mainitaan usein kokonaiskestävyys, joka on kuitenkin kestävyyden osa-alueiden välisten subjektiivisten, kullekin arvioijalle yksilöllisten vaihtosuhteiden takia mahdotonta saavuttaa. Tässä tutkimuksessa määrittelimme tutkijatyönä laatuvaatimukset kestävyyskeskustelussa käytettäville kriteereille.
