The article discusses the difficulties of diagnosing speaking skills in the situation of matriculation examination, resulting from the specific nature of spoken language varieties and texts implementation in these variants. Factors that should be taken into account when formulating criteria for assessing speech and conversation exams are: complex and holistic structure of spoken speech, transience of audible text, the spontaneity of live speech, the power of nonverbal codes, a significant stigma of a dialog, and the influence of situational context on the course of communicative interaction. In forest management planning, participatory planning processes are often encouraged as a means to acquire relevant information and to enhance the stakeholders' acceptability of alternative plans. This requires the aggregation of the stakeholders' preferences that can be done in a wide variety of manners. The aggregation process strives to reduce the information into a single set of preferences that simplifies the information and allows for the use of discrete decision support tools. Sponges (Porifera) represent the lowest metazoan phylum, characterized by a pronounced plasticity in the determination of cell lineages, and they are the closest related taxon to the hypothetical ancestral animal, the Urmetazoa, from which the metazoan lineages diverged. In a first approach to elucidate the molecular mechanisms controlling the switch from the cell lineage with a putative indefinite growth capacity to senescent, somatic cells, the activity of the telomerase as an indicator for immortality has been determined. Low oxygen conditions in the modern Baltic Sea are exacerbated by human activities; however, anoxic conditions also prevailed naturally over the Holocene. Few studies have characterized the specific paleoredox conditions (manganous, ferruginous, euxinic) and their frequency in southern Baltic sub-basins during these ancient events. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on saada tarkempaa tietoa maahanmuuttajien kielellisestä identiteetistä. Keskityn tutkimuksessani maahanmuuttajiin, jotka ovat oppineet valtakunnallisen vähemmistökielen ruotsin, joka on heidän sijoituspaikkakunnallaan enemmistökielen asemassa. Tutkimuksen empiirinen materiaali koostuu teemahaastatteluista. Haastateltavina olleet 5 maahanmuuttajaa (iältään 20 – 54-vuotiaita) osallistuivat henkilökohtaisiin teemahaastatteluihin asuin tai työpaikkakunnallaan. Kaksi haastateltavista on tullut Suomeen pakolaisena 1990-luvulla, 2 perhesyistä ja 1 työnantajan lähettämänä.
