This paper aims to establish an optimization model using the Ansys program, and taking into account the specific constraints depending on the functional role of the specific area. We present certain calculation parameters applied to the cardanic transmission of the Dacia, this cardanic transmission being considered an optimization model. The entire cardanic transmission was analyzed, resulting that the cardan crosses are parts which are strained the most, and that is why it will be here that the optimization will be focused, in terms of minimizing the Von Mises stress.

An epidemiological investigation was conducted over 2 years in hospital buildings in Dijon and Nancy (France) and in non-hospital buildings in Dijon. The fungi were detected only within the water distribution systems of the hospital buildings and also, but at very low concentrations, in the urban water network of Nancy. High-dimensional data refers to the case in which the number of parameters is of one or more order greater than the sample size. Penalized Gaussian graphical models can be used to estimate the conditional independence graph in high-dimensional setting. In this setting, the crucial issue is to select the tuning parameter which regulates the sparsity of the graph. In this paper, we focus on estimating the "best" tuning parameter. AbstractUsually polyominoes are represented as subsets of the lattice Z2. In this paper we study a representation of polyominoes by Gaussian integers. Polyomino {(x1,y1),(x2,y2),…,(xs,ys)}⊂Z2 is represented by the set {(x1+iy1),(x2+iy2),…,(xs+iys)}⊂Z[i]. Then we consider functions of type f:P→G from the set P of all polyominoes to an abelian group G, given by f(x,y)≡(x+iy)m(modv), where v is prime in Z[i],1≤m<N(v) (N(v) is the norm of v). Using the arithmetic of the ring Z[i] we find necessary and sufficient conditions for such a function to be a coloring map.
Sequential variation in genomic RNA patterns of human rotaviruses isolated from infantile gastroenteritis

The incidence and RNA electrophoretypes of rotaviral isolates obtained from infants and young children with acute gastroenteritis were studied from October, 1985 through April, 1986. Analysis of the viral RNA was carried out by Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis followed by silver staining. Fourteen electrophoretypes were identified. A single dominant electrophoretype was found during the first months of the rotavirus seasonal outbreak. In contrast, a large variety of RNA patterns were observed during the latter portion of the study period. Background information. T-box transcription factors are a large family of transcriptional regulators involved in many aspects of embryonic development. In a previous report, we described the isolation and genomic characterization of two T-box genes from the siliceous sponge Suberites domuncula: a Brachyury homologue, Sd-Bra, and a Tbx2 homologue, Sd-Tbx2. Elucidation of the genomic structure of Sd-Bra allowed us to demonstrate the existence of two different isoforms, resulting from alternative splicing.
