The problem of robust mode-dependent delayed state feedback H∞ control is investigated for a class of uncertain time-delay systems with Markovian switching parameters and mixed discrete, neutral, and distributed delays. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional theory, new required sufficient conditions are established in terms of delay-dependent linear matrix inequalities for the stochastic stability and stabilization of the considered system using some free matrices. Railway scheduling has been a significant issue in the railway industry. Over the last few years, numerous approaches and tools have been developed to compute railway scheduling. However, robust solutions are necessary to absorb short disruptions. An Investigation of the Robustness in the Travelling Salesman Problem Routes Using Special Structured Matrices

In this study, the robustness of the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) routes is investigated by recognising the special combinatorial structures of Kalmanson matrices. A recognition algorithm encompassing three procedures based on combinatorial and linear programming (LP) is developed and executed on several randomly generated instances. These procedures produce three lower bounds which provide guarantees on the optimality of the solutions. Computational experiments show that the proposed LP-based procedure performs efficiently well across all problem dimensions and provides the best lower bounds to the TSP. Implementation of compact VLSI FitzHugh-Nagumo neurons

In this paper we show a low power and very compact VLSI implementation of a FitzHugh-Nagumo neuron for large network implementations. The circuit consists of only 17 small transistors and two capacitors and consumes less than 23 muW. It is composed of a nonlinear resistor and a lossy active inductor. We demonstrate that a simple low Q active inductor can be used instead of a complex one because the parasitic series resistor can be easily embedded to the FitzHugh-Nagumo model. We also perform a statistical analysis to check the robustness of the circuit against mismatch.
