L'orientation scolaire et professionnelle, l'orientation des adultes et la formation au long de la vie peuvent être approchées selon des points de vue disciplinaires différents. Dans le cadre de cette préface nous limiterons notre approche aux dimensions sociopolitiques, locales et internationales, pédagogiques, économiques et psychologiques de l'orientation. Ces approches permettent de proposer une compréhension de la démarche scientifique anthropologique de Francis Danvers.

The Financing of Education : An Economic Issue ?

Building on previous contributions on the same topic, this article gives a brief overview of the financial situation of Education in the different regions of the world then focuses on the shortcomings of the traditional treatment of financing issues by economist among them the quasi absence of equity consideration. It ends by discussing the main issues as they can be seen today : extent of the "right to education", demand side approach to education financing, choice between various types of subsides to students.

The electrochemical response of four natural cytotoxic thiazinoquinones isolated from the Aplidium species was studied using conventional solution-phase and solid-state techniques, based on the voltammetry of immobilized particles methodology. The interaction with O-2 and electrochemically generated reactive oxygen species (ROS) was electrochemically monitored. We present a complete study of the reduction of ubiquinone Q(2) (UQ(2)) in simpler aqueous medium, over a pH range of 2.5 to 12.5. The short isoprenic chain ubiquinones (UQ(2)) were incorporated in a self-assembled monolayer. Under these conditions, the global 2e(-) electrochemical reaction can be described on the basis of a nine-member square scheme. The thermodynamic constants of the system were determined. The global 2e(-) process is controlled by the uptake of the second electron. The elementary electrochemical rate constants obtained by fitting of the experimental rate constant were k(s4) = 1.5 s(-1) for QH˙(+)(2)↔ QH(2), k(s5) = 1.5 s(-1) for QH˙↔ QH(-) and k(s6) = 1 s(-1) for Q˙(-)↔ …
