Mūsdienās aktuāla tēma augstākajā izglītībā ir studentu piesaistīšana un noturēšana studijām, jo kā liecina pētījumi viena trešā daļa no augstākās izglītības studentiem nepabeidz bakalaura līmeņa studijas. Firms are under constant pressure from various governmental and nongovernmental agencies to switch from conventional environmentally polluting products to green product innovations (GPIs). However, the relevant research pertaining to GPI has been published in a diverse set of journals that vary in their scope and readership and, therefore, the scholarly contribution to the topic remains largely fragmented. Productivity dynamics and the productivity trap: problems and solutions in Latvia

By analysing changes in productivity and labour costs in Latvia from 2013 till 2017, we can see that growth of labour costs exceeds the growth of productivity by more than 2 times in both, tradable sector and total economy. Slow growth in productivity compared with the labour and other production expenses lead to an increase in the price of final goods and services, which negatively corresponds with producers’ competitiveness in both internal and external market. Furthermore, this leads to a drop-in consumption of domestic production and inefficient production facility usage, resulting in declining economic growth rates. Celem artykułu jest określenie zmian struktury oraz tempa wzrostu produkcji żywca rzeźnego w województwach Polski w latach 2004–2014 według gatunków, z zastosowaniem klasycznej metody przesunięć udziałów. Ponadto zidentyfikowano i oszacowano udział czynników strukturalnych oraz regionalnych w wielkości efektu globalnego (produkcji żywca rzeźnego w Polsce ogółem) w przekroju województw. Na podstawie wyników badań wykazano, że zróżnicowanie tempa zmian produkcji żywca rzeźnego związane jest przede wszystkim z pozycją konkurencyjną regionu, a w mniejszym stopniu zależne od zmian struktury produkcji

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie struktury źródeł finansowania wydatków studentów pobierających naukę na poziomie wyższym (studia) w Opolu. Prezentowany materiał stanowi efekt kilkuletnich badań empirycznych, które wykonano we wszystkich uczelniach wyższych prowadzących działalność edukacyjną w Opolu, mającym status regionalnego ośrodka akademickiego. Próba do badań została ustalona w sposób kwotowy, zaś same badania przeprowadzono na dobranej próbie 1075 osób, będących w czasie badań studentami opolskich uczelni wyższych.
