F-contractions of Hardy–Rogers-type and application to multistage decision

We prove fixed point theorems for F-contractions of Hardy–Rogers type involving self-mappings defined on metric spaces and ordered metric spaces. An example and an application to multistage decision processes are given to show the usability of the obtained theorems.

Purpose Despite a few recent reports of patients harboring truncating variants in NSD2, a gene considered critical for the Wolf–Hirschhorn syndrome (WHS) phenotype, the clinical spectrum associated with NSD2 pathogenic variants remains poorly understood. Methods We collected a comprehensive series of 18 unpublished patients carrying heterozygous missense, elongating, or truncating NSD2 variants; compared their clinical data to the typical WHS phenotype after pooling them with ten previously described patients; and assessed the underlying molecular mechanism by structural modeling and measuring methylation activity in vitro. Fixed point results for F-contractive mappings of Hardy-Rogers-type

Recently, Wardowski introduced a new concept of contraction and proved a fixed point theorem which generalizes Banach contraction principle. Following this direction of research, in this paper, we will present some fixed point results of Hardy-Rogers-type for self-mappings on complete metric spaces or complete ordered metric spaces. Moreover, an example is given to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.

Multi-valued F-contractions and the solution of certain functional and integral equations

Wardowski [Fixed Point Theory Appl., 2012:94] introduced a new concept of contraction and proved a fixed point theorem which generalizes Banach contraction principle. Following this direction of research, we will present some fixed point results for closed multi-valued F-contractions or multi-valued mappings which satisfy an F-contractive condition of Hardy-Rogers-type, in the setting of complete metric spaces or complete ordered metric spaces. An example and two applications, for the solution of certain functional and integral equations, are given to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.

The aim of this paper is to provide an assessment of John R. Commons’ adoption of Wesley N. Hohfeld’s framework of jural opposites and correlatives in order to construct his transactional approach to the study of institutions. Hohfeld’s influence on Commons, it is argued, was both positive and negative. On the one hand, Commons, followed Hohfeld and recognized that such concepts as property and inheritance actually represent an aggregation of numerous types of legal relations. Multipactor Effect Characterization of Dielectric Materials for Space Applications

[EN] The objective of this paper is to advance the state of the art in the characterization of the multipactor effect in dielectric materials. The materials studied are the most commonly used dielectrics in space applications, namely, Alumina, Rexolite, Rogers RT5870, Rohacell, Teflon, and Ultem 1000. In this paper, a new family of coaxial waveguide components, covering the L- and S-bands, with a wideband, low-pass response has been designed, and six different prototypes have been specifically optimized and manufactured.
