Zagraniczne migracje kobiet a problemy rodziny i małżeństwa

W artykule na podstawie badań jakościowych (wywiady, listy) i ilościowych przedstawiono refleksje i wspomnienia kobiet migrantek dotyczące ich rodzin i małżeństwa. Podejmując się analizy teoretycznej tych badań, wzięto pod uwagę teorię roli jako narzędzie do wyjaśniania zja-wisk. Teoria ta została zmodyfikowana poprzez dodanie innych, pozaludzkich (non-human) partne-rów roli, wobec których rola migrantki jest konstruowana i odgrywana. Impulsivitātes un paškontroles saistība ar mikrokreditēšanas pakalpojumu izmantošanu

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kāda ir impulsivitātes un paškontroles saistība ar mikrokreditēšanas pakalpojumu izmantošanu. Pētījumā piedalījās 68 respondenti, no kuriem 56 ir izmantojuši mikrokredītu. Tika izmantotas šādi instrumenti: Impulsivitātes aptauja (Impulsivity Scale, UPPS), (Whiteside & Lynam, 2001) un Īsā paškontroles aptauja (Brief self-control scale, BSCS), (Tangney, Baumeister, & Boone, 2004). Rezultāti rāda, ka mikrokredītu izmantošanas biežuma saistība ar impulsivitāti nav statistiski nozīmīga, bet saistība ar paškontroli ir statistiski nozīmīga un negatīva. Acs aksiālā garuma un refrakcijas izmaiņas tuvredzīgiem bērniem 6 līdz 12 gadu vecumā, lietojot ortokeratoloģijas kontaktlēcas

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā, datorsalikumā uz 53 lappusēm. Tas satur 21 attēlu, 13 tabulas, 4 pielikumus, 43 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Atslēgvārdi: ortokeratoloģija, miopijas kontrole, acs aksiālais garums, sklēras biezums Mērķis: novērtēt ortokeratoloģijas ietekmi uz miopu bērnu refrakcijas stabilizēšanu. Metodika: līdz 12 gadus veciem 10 bērniem, kuri lieto ortokeratoloģijas kontaktlēcas, 6 mēnešu periodā tika mērīta refrakcija, redzes asums, radzenes topogrāfija, acs aksiālais garums un sklēras biezums. Ortokeratoloģijas ietekme uz acs aksiālā garuma izmaiņām bērniem ar tuvredzību

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 51 lapaspuses. Tas satur 34 attēlus, 5 tabulas, 7 pielikumus un 33 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Mērķis: noteikt acs aksiālā garuma, radzenes liekuma, temporālā un nazālā sklēras biezuma un refrakcijas izmaiņas 24 mēnešu periodā. Metode: ik pa 6 mēnešiem tika veikti mērījumi 7-14 gadus veciem bērniem ar miopiju, kas refrakcijas korekcijai izvēlējušies ortokeratoloģijas kontaktlēcas. Rezultāti un secinājumi: acs aksiālā garuma izmaiņas ir statistiski un klīniski būtiski mazākas kā citos pētījumos atrodamajos rezultātos bērniem, kas miopiju koriģē ar monofokālām brillēm. Epistemic uses of the pretérito pluscuamperfecto in La Paz Spanish

This paper explores epistemic-evidential uses of the pluperfect, i.e. pretérito pluscuamperfecto, in La Paz Spanish. The pretérito pluscuamperfecto displays functions of a reported evidential form, conforming to results from previous studies on Argentinian Spanish (Bermúdez 2008; Speranza 2014) and, furthermore, is used according to a previously unnoticed inferential evidential function. Using theoretical frameworks from Kockelman (1957) and Bergqvist (2018), this paper describes the configuration of participant roles and event types implied in the different evidential functions of the pretérito pluscuamperfecto.
Phase-selective low molecular weight organogelators derived from allylated D-mannose

In the last decades, synthesis and design of low molecular weight organogelators has gained increasing attention due to their versatile use in, for example, cosmetics, biomedicine and oil spill remediation. In this work, three potential gelators have been prepared from allylated d-mannose. Both the gelators and the corresponding gels formed were thoroughly characterized by crystallography, FTIR spectroscopy, SEM, rheometry and NMR spectroscopy, in solution and in solid state. The results showed that two of the compounds phase-selectively form gels with hydrocarbon solvents. This paper presents a method to define an ideal learning space from a key user perspective. The target group, upper secondary school students in a Finnish city, was addressed through two online surveys. In these we sought to establish the features that the students considered to be most important in a learning space. The aim was to adapt the redevelopment of school premises to the users’ cultural practices. Two survey methods were employed in the surveys. Oppikirjoissa olevat suulliset harjoitukset eivät aina motivoi oppilaita luontevaan keskusteluun, josta syystä heille on tärkeää tarjota mahdollisuuksia käydä mielekkäitä, ajatuksia herättäviä keskusteluja. Teknologian käyttö luokkahuoneessa on myös pinnalla oleva puheenaihe, jonka hyödyntämiseen ei opettajille kuitenkaan ole tarjottu tarpeeksi käytännön välineitä.
