Updated checklist and distribution of the inland-water calanoid copepods (Copepoda: Calanoida) of Romania

No recent studies on the distribution of calanoid copepods in Romanian inlandwaters are available. During a long-term survey aimed at large branchiopods, we collected two diaptomid species that are new for the fauna of the country, and supplemented the available data on the distribution of other calanoid species with new records. As already observed in the case of large branchiopods, the habitats of the mountain basins of the Eastern Carpathians seem to be characterized by a quite distinct species assemblage. Taxation in Romania – Some Positive Aspects

Abstract The field of taxation is often a subject of analysis, due to its importance for the formation and administration of public financial resources. By taking into account the local, national and international size of taxation, may be thus identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Although the taxation in Romania is often criticized both by taxpayers and by specialists, there is a progress in taxation field as a result of actions taken in forming and managing fiscal revenues. Without claiming an exhaustive approach, through this article we mention some positive aspects of Romanian taxation. We believe that these should be consolidated and continued.

The Harzburg Management Model in the Contemporary World

Abstract In the context of globalization, economic growth and economic performance is the only chance for Romania. Within all the instruments and means required to obtain the economical growth, a very important role plays the management system, which should be performing and aligned to the requirements and evolution of the contemporary world. An option for a performing management system lies in implementing the German Harzburg Management system within public and private organizations in Romania. The present paper aims to present the main aspects regarding this management model, including main features and performances as a viable alternative to the Romanian management system.

Abstract The economic growth that has occurred in post-communist Romania has polarised society and greatly increased existing inequalities. This paper examines the dynamics of sector concentration in Romania starting from two basic questions: how concentrated the economic activities are and what factors determine the economic concentration. The lack of availability of concentration ratio series for Romanian economy has limited the research in this field. The paper reports the concentration ratios dynamics in Romania during the period 1996–2004, looking at the differences between industries and offers some possible explanations. The aim of this paper is to analyze the Romanian CIF imports during the period 01.01.2016 - 31.10.2016. My research goal is to identify the most important section of CIF imports during the analyzed period and the main structural modifications in evolution of the Romanian imports. The expected results are to know the most important import section of the Combined Nomenclature, the structural modification in evolution of these industries and the most important partner countries.

Benchmarking is a managerial tool that can assist the organizational change and the innovation. The paper aims to discover the degree in which Romanian managers in various industrial fields use this modern tool in the improvement of business strategy or organizational processes. In this context, we presented some results of a selective research made in Romanian industrial environment. The respondents were experts in creativity management and benchmarking, acting in big, medium or small enterprises.
