Maģistra darbā tiek skatīts temats, kas veltīts holokausta traumas pārvarēšanai sabiedrībā un baznīcas darbībām, lai to sekmētu. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt Romas katoļu baznīcas iniciatīvas holokausta traumas dziedināšanā sabiedrībā Latvijā un Lietuvā. Pētījuma gaitā tiek raksturots, kāda ir baznīcas loma pagātnes totalitāro traumu dziedināšanā sabiedrībā. Darba tēma ir “Romas Katoļu baznīcas bīskapu un priesteru liturģisko tērpu teoloģiskā krāsu un simbolismu nozīme”. Darbā tiek apskatīta liturģisko krāsu nozīme, priesteru un bīskapu liturģiskie tērpi, liturģisko tērpu simbolisms un Vatikāna II koncila dokuments. Darba saturs veido priekšstatu par to, kāda nozīme ir liturģiskajām krāsām, kā tās palīdz uzturēt attiecīgā liturģiskā laika noskaņu un ko tās simbolizē. Kā arī detalizēti izklāsta priesteru un bīskapu liturģiskos tērpus un to simboliku. Tiek veikta izpēte Vatikāna II koncila dokumentā par liturģiskā tērpa izmaiņām. Neliels ieskats Augstajā modē liturģiskajos tērpos.
Metachromatic staining and electron dense reaction of glycosaminoglycans by means of Cuprolinic Blue

The cationic phthalocyanin-like dye Cuprolinic Blue, unlike phthalocyanin dyes such as Alcian Blue or Astra Blue, can definitely exhibit a clear metachromatic reaction with appropriate substrates. The application of Cuprolinic Blue to epoxy-embedded semithin sections revealed that mast cell cytoplasmic granules, goblet cell mucin and cartilage matrix stained in violet shades (metachromatic), whereas nuclear chromatin presented a bright blue coloration (orthochromatic). The metachromatic structures showed a high degree of contrast when ultrathin sections treated with Cuprolinic Blue were examined by electron microscopy. Introduction: A study is made of the principal characteristics of the oral lesions biopsied in our Service of Oral Surgery and histologically diagnosed as corresponding to fibro-osseous lesions of the maxillas. Patients and methods: A retrospective review was made of all the biopsies made in a Service of Oral Surgery between 1996 and 2003. The reason for consultation was analyzed, along with patient age, sex, clinical and radiological characteristics, tentative diagnosis, histological diagnosis and treatment provided. Decomposition of Microbial Necromass Is Divergent at the Individual Taxonomic Level in Soil

The turnover of microbial biomass plays an important part in providing a significant source of carbon (C) to soil organic C. However, whether the decomposition of microbial necromass (non-living microbial biomass) in the soil varies at the individual taxa level remains largely unknown. To fill up these gaps, we compared the necromass decomposition of bacterial and archaeal taxa by separating live microbial biomass with 18O-stable isotope probing from dead microbial biomass in soil. Abstract CONTEXT: Lipase maturation factor 1 (LMF1) gene is a novel candidate gene in severe hypertriglyceridemia. Lmf1 is involved in the maturation of lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and hepatic lipase in endoplasmic reticulum. To date only one patient with severe hypertriglyceridemia and related disorders was found to be homozygous for a nonsense mutation in LMF1 gene (Y439X). OBJECTIVE: The objective of the study was to investigate LMF1 gene in hypertriglyceridemic patients in whom mutations in LPL, APOC2, and APOA5 genes had been excluded. Darbu veido teorētiskā bāze par zīmolu un mārketinga komunikāciju, sociālo tīklu vietnēm un medija lietojuma un apmierinājuma teoriju.
