Szuwar sitowia korzenioczepnego Scirpetum radicantis Hejný in Hejný et Husák 1978 w Słowińskim Parku Narodowym

2017

Szuwar sitowia korzenioczepnego Scirpetum radicantis Hejný in Hejný et Husák 1978 został po raz pierwszy opisany ze strefy litoralu stawów hodowlanych w południowych Czechach. Następnie został stwierdzony w Niemczech, Czechach, Słowacji, Austrii i w Polsce.

Student employment in France: Hindrance rather than help for higher educational success?

2021

International audience; In this study, we examine how student employment impacts higher educational trajectories in France. Focussing on undergraduates’ educational outcomes, we show the consequences of different intensities and levels of recurrence of student employment on perseverance in higher education. We use data from a nationally representative four-year longitudinal survey, descriptive analysis and logistic regression are performed to control for student characteristics. Our results suggest that student employment, especially when intensive and during periods of exams, increases exam failure. When it is recurrent over time, student employment often leads to university dropout. Furth…

Rational Herding in Reward-Based Crowdfunding: An MTurk Experiment.

2020

Crowdfunding is gaining popularity as a way of financing social sustainable initiatives. We performed a controlled economic experiment in MTurk by simulating a crowdfunding platform and developed a theoretical model that rationalizes herding behavior. The experiment was designed to test and quantify the causal effects of revealing specific information to prospective backers: (i) the number of early contributors already financing the project and (ii) positive opinions of other backers versus those of experts. The results show that early contributions to the campaign and positive opinions of peers act as a reinforcing signal to potential backers and affect backers&rsquo

The lived experience of rescuing people who have driven into floodwater: Understanding challenges and identifying areas for providing support.

2018

Background: Drowning is a major public health issue, with risk increasing during times of flood. Driving into floodwater is a major risk factor for flood-related drowning and injury, and despite widespread public health campaigns, many people continue to undertake this risky behaviour and require rescue. Purpose: We aimed to identify key challenges faced by emergency services personnel when rescuing those who have driven into floodwater, and to identify strategies for supporting rescuers in this important role. Methods: Australian flood rescue operators (N = 8) who had previously rescued a driver who had driven into floodwater participated in semi-structured interviews. Data were analysed u…

2021

Social media marketing (SMM) plays an important role in business communication, marketing, operations, and other activities. Diversifying crop rotations with temporary grasslands: potentials for weed management and farmland biodiversity

2010

Cercspora beticola - znaczenie i odporność na fungicydy

2015

Natomiast do metod chemicznych należy stosowanie fungicydów.
