Tiivistelmä – Abstract Työperusteisen maahanmuuton määrä kasvaa Suomessa jatkuvasti. Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitetään, millaista sosiaalista kielenoppimista informaatioteknologian alan työyhteisössä tapahtuu ilman formaalia kielikoulutusta. Lisäksi tutkitaan, miten suomen kielen taidon taso vaikuttaa elämään, millaisena suomenkieliset työtoverit näkevät maahanmuuttajien suomen kielen taidon ja oman roolinsa sen kehittymisessä, sekä millaisia ovat maahanmuuttajien asenteet suomen kieltä ja sen oppimista kohtaan. Terveydenhuoltoalan ammattilaisten työperusteisen maahanmuuton lisääntymisen myötä lääkärien ammatillinen kielitaito on noussut tärkeäksi keskustelunaiheeksi. Tutkimukseni on laadullinen tapaustutkimus, jonka tarkoituksena on kuvata erään maahanmuuttajalääkärin kokemuksia ammatillisen kielitaidon omaksumisesta ja suomen kielen käytöstä työssä sekä näkemyksiä maahanmuuttajalääkärien kielikoulutuksen kehittämisestä. Pääasiallisena tutkimusmenetelmänä käytetään teemahaastattelua. Ievads: Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt saikni starp infantilas rīšanas paradumiem ar citām orofaciālā kompleksa atradnēm pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem Latvijā. Paralēli tam mēs pētījām arī oklūziju. Metodes: Šajā šķērsgriezuma pētījumā piedalījās 141 pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu no 4 līdz 7 gadiem un viņu mātes. Orofaciālā kompleksa izmeklēšanu veica divi ortodonti, kurā tika novērtēta orofaciālā kompleksa miofunkcionālā situācija, oklūzija un bērnu runas defekti. Mātēm tika sniegtas anketas, lai iegūtu informāciju par bērnu veselības stāvokli un citiem identifikācijas datiem. Transparency is seen as a panacea for a major problem facing journalism and journalists today, that is, the loss of trust and credibility. In recent years, the Norwegian government has invested heavily in improving basic skills in the adult population. Initiatives have included legislation, the introduction of work-based adult education programs, and reforms in schooling. In light of this investment, we explore trends in adult literacy and numeracy, by comparing data from two international surveys of adult skills, conducted in 2003 and 2012. Paradoxically, the proportion of low-performing adults appears to have increased, most significantly in the 16- to 24-year age group and in the foreign-born population.
