Extremely fast Holocene coastal landscape evolution in the Kachchh Upland (NW India): Clues from a multidisciplinary review

The coastal landscape of the Kachchh Upland (KU) region (NW-India) changed over the last few thousand years from a shallow marine gulf to a salty desert (1-4 meters asl). In this area, bordered to the south by the Northern Hill Range (NHR), the tectonic-climatic interaction triggered the sea level fall from +2/4 m circa (6000-2000 BP) to zero. An ancient river pattern deposited a tidally regulated delta area during the sea level fall that stopped 2000-3000 years ago due to tectonic activity and a dry climate. The synthesis and characterisation of a new donor–chromophore–acceptor system based on poly(vinyltriphenylamine) as the electron donor and a glycine-functionalised bis(2,2′;6′,2′′-terpyridine)ruthenium(II) complex acting both as a chromophore and as an anchor group attached to ZnO nanorods as the electron acceptor are described. The roach (Rutilus rutilus L.) which is a cyprinid fish, was immunised with bovine γ-globulin (BGG) and the antibody synthesis was studied by counting the number of specific antibody secreting cells (SASC) in the spleen and anterior kidney, and by measuring the antibody concentration in the circulation. SASCs and the total number of immunoglobulin secreting cells (TISC) were counted with the ELISPOT (enzyme-linked immunospot) assay, and anti-BGG antibodies and the concentration of immunoglobulin in sera were assayed by ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay). Feromonu un maršruta atmiņas loma kolektīvo lēmumu pieņemšanā melnajai skudrai Lasius niger (Linnaeus, 1758)

Skudru kolonijās feromonu takas ir viens no galvenajiem mehānismiem, kas izmantoti kolektīvo lēmumu pieņemšanā. Tomēr daudziem sociālajiem kukaiņiem ir labi attīstīta atmiņa, kas var darboties arī kā orientieris. Šajā pētījumā tiek atdalīts atmiņas un feromonu efekts uz barotnes izvēli, eksperimenta pirmajā fāzē ļaujot Lasius niger skudru kolonijām iegaumēt un izveidot feromonu taku uz 0,5 M saharozes šķīdumu, bet otrajā fāzē pēc atmiņas vai feromonu taku likvidēšanas piedāvāta izvēle starp to pašu 0,5 M, kā arī 1 M saharozes šķīdumu. I denne artikkelen undersøker vi fremtidige muligheter og utfordringer i femårige lærerutdanninger i kroppsøving og idrettsfag på masternivået, i lys av kvalitet og relevans for fagfeltet. I undersøkelsen ble det benyttet en kvalitativ tilnærming med to metodiske innganger. Først ble et utvalg på 96 masteroppgaver i perioden 2015–2018 innenfor fagfeltet kroppsøving og idrettsfag brukt for å undersøke hva slags tematikker, teoretiske tilnærminger og metoder som er benyttet i masteroppgavene.
