The b-chromatic number of power graphs

The b-chromatic number of a graph G is defined as the maximum number k of colors that can be used to color the vertices of G, such that we obtain a proper coloring and each color i, with 1 ≤ i≤ k, has at least one representant x_i adjacent to a vertex of every color j, 1 ≤ j ≠ i ≤ k. In this paper, we discuss the b-chromatic number of some power graphs. We give the exact value of the b-chromatic number of power paths and power complete binary trees, and we bound the b-chromatic number of power cycles.

Abstract The knowledge of the actual magnitude and main features of tourism flows in a given destination is an essential prerequisite for the evaluation of tourism impacts and externalities. Abstract A popular method for creating an accurate classifier from a set of training data is to build several classifiers, and then to combine their predictions. The ensembles of simple Bayesian classifiers have traditionally not been a focus of research. One way to generate an ensemble of accurate and diverse simple Bayesian classifiers is to use different feature subsets generated with the random subspace method. Map-matching refers to the process of projecting positioning measurements to a location on a digital road network map. It is an important element of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) focusing on driver assistance applications, on emergency and incident management, arterial and freeway management, and other applications. Luminescent semiconducting organic compounds are widely used as active layers in electro-optical devices. Apart from conjugated polymers, monodisperse oligomers also represent attractive materials. The synthesis of stilbenoid oligomers with polymerizable end groups is presented. Oligo(phenylenevinylene)s with terminal vinyl groups 17–19 are prepared in good yields by Horner–Emmons olefinations or by the Heck reaction of the iodo-substituted oligomers 15, 16 with compressed ethene.
