Navigating organizational workspace is often plagued with tensions that emerge from the interplay of intended designs with organizational activities and lived experiences. These tensions are evident in research findings, such as inconsistencies in the ways that employees react to new workplace designs. They call on scholars to rethink organizational space, not as a concrete, static, or ready-made ‘thing’, but as a set of ongoing performances that enact particular practices, clashes among opposites, and organizational tensions. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on kartoittaa englanninkielistä viestintää suomalaisissa yrityksissä. Tarkastelun kohteena on myös työntekijöiden henkilökohtainen suhtautuminen monikulttuuriseen viestintään ja omaan suoriutumiseen. Tutkimukseni taustalla on halu ymmärtää, miten suomalaisyritysten kansainvälinen viestintä rakentuu ja minkälaisia velvoitteita ja vaatimuksia se asettaa työntekijöille. Evening early childhood education and care: Reformulating the institutional culture

The article investigates the ongoing reformulation of the institutional culture of early childhood education and care (ECEC) in Finnish evening ECEC. Educators’ practices in implementing evening ECEC were explored and viewed through the lens of young children’s belonging. Data were collected by observing the evenings of eight children aged 20–36 months in two Finnish centers offering flexibly scheduled ECEC and analyzed using qualitative thematic analysis.
