EnglishThe article explores the historical evolution of the popular festival in honor of saint Vincent Ferrer in Valencia, analyzing its various phases: traditional feast, modern feast and contemporary feast. Likewise, the Vicentine miracles stand out as the central reference of the festive ritual sequence, together with the street sociability that made possible the intergenerational transmission of the party. Abstract. The fact that Saint Peter is depicted as bald in the Catholic popular tradition is probably due to an episode narrated in the Legenda Aurea (XIIIth century): when St. Peter preached in Antioch, the inhabitants shaved the top of his head in an attempt to mock the Christian law.
