Artykuł stanowi przegląd literatury dotyczącej syntezy i charakterystyki materiałów hybrydowych uzyskanych na drodze kopolimeryzacji alkenylopodstawionych silseskwioksanów z olefinami. Przedstawiono przykłady wykorzystania m.in. procesów kopolimeryzacji koordynacyjnej do syntezy kopolimerów olefin i silseskwioksanów (POSS). Jednocześnie wskazano korzyści płynące z obecności POSS w strukturze polimeru, które przekładają się na jego zwiększoną odporność termiczną oraz parametry mechaniczne.

ABSTRACTBackground: During last few decades, the proportion of elderly persons prescribed with antidepressants for the treatment of depression and anxiety has increased. The aim of this study was to evaluate prevalence of antidepressant prescription and related factors in elderly in-patients, as well as the consistency between prescription of antidepressants and specific diagnoses requiring these medications.Methods: Thirty-four internal medicine and four geriatric wards in Italy participated in the Registro Politerapie SIMI–REPOSI study during 2008. Palladium Catalyzed [3+2] Cycloaddition of Vinyl Aziridine and Indane-1,3-diones: Diastereo- and Enantioselective Access to Spiro-Pyrrolidines

A mild and efficient palladium-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition of vinylaziridine and indane-1,3-diones has been realized. The resulting spiro-pyrrolidines were provided in excellent yields and, with the introduction of the leucine-derived phosphine ligand, moderate to good enantio- and diastereoselectivities.
